Ron, an 11 year old sacrificing himself on the chessboard in year 1 so that Harry can go ahead and do what he did as a year old baby. Kill Voldemort > Lily, a grown up woman, sacrificinh herself for the child she herself birthed.

Like of course you are his mom. That is what a mother does.

But Ron just a kid doing something so big. Is like the textbook defination of bravery.

Why is my dear Ron so underappreciated.

Is it because he is not a women??? In the era of Upliftment of women in every sphere, you either be a woman to be praised. Or be so damm hot that you are praised...

Feel like Ron went through some real development to go from only caring about taking a pretty girl to the Yule Ball to advising Harry to date a girl for her personality instead of just her looks by the end of book 5, and it’s not all that talked about.

Ron’s birthday is a great time

to remind us all that Book Ron is an amazing character and far superior to Movie Ron. He is brave, loyal and a great friend who was willing to sacrifice himself at 12 years old. He is not just comic relief. He is a well-rounded, three dimensional character. And he deserves respect.

Even so, this definitley isn’t Rupert Grint’s fault. It’s Steve Kloves’ Hhermione Boner’s fault.

Ron disarmed the woman who managed to deflect a spell from Dumbledore himself, and later threw a knife at a faster speed than an elf apparating. I have no doubts about his skills.
