Getting caught up now, these are The Royal socks, released in January. The Royal socks pattern comes out today! These socks invoke whichever royal book/movie/TV character is your favourite, and allows you to carry them throughout the day with you. You can knit them in a colour associated with said character, or simply in a royal purple. I knit these ones up with some Alley Cat Yarns Boots 2-ply in Amethyst from my stash.

Book Socks!

With the school year creeping up on us, I wanted to highlight some socks that are close to my heart. I’m a big book fan, and a big sock fan (you may have guessed), so I think these socks are pretty much perfect.

Feature here, in order of appearance from left to right:

There is so many things I would want to say. I could write books on books. By the way, look at those cute book socks my online friend sent me from the Netherlands for my birthday one year... :) Colourful and sweet. I am sure I could write books because I have so many words but maybe it's not just about having lots of words. You have to have the right ones. Like my writer friend... she just writes perfectly delicate poems with not so many words but the right kind of words. She is so neat and perfect in her ways.

I write stories on my computer. But there is nothing I can show others. At least I don't think so. I have no ambitions to write a novel or great poems. But I do like to write. There is so many things I want to say. I have this need of expressing myself but what comes out... it's just bull. Sigh!

I have so much on my mind. I want to create great things, things I can show the world. I want to be a part of the world.
