couldn't bear to read Lolita any longer so i started The Obelisk Gate, by N. K. Jemisin. honestly, in the beginning i thought the extra Goodreads challenges were a fun little idea, but the truth is that i don't want to read 99% of those books and trying to get the achievements is ruining my reading vibes, which have always been about reading whatever i feel like reading whenever i feel like reading it. this might be the thing that makes me uninstall Goodreads for good. freeing myself from the grips of technology one app at a time
