I devoured it in two days and that means something because it has 750 pages and I read it in English 😄 I heard from many of you that you enjoyed it, too but many people also didn’t like it. So I have to say: It’s not the “usual” action packed plot driven story we might expect by an ACOTAR novel BUT it’s nevertheless beautifully written as always and moved me deeply. It’s Nesta’s journey. It’s about dealing with guilt, anger, PTSD and about accepting your thoughts and feelings even if you can’t change them at the moment. It’s about friendship, overcoming your past terrors and accepting that you are enough and you are worth being loved, especially and most importantly by yourself! . I won’t say anything else regarding the story but I’m sure that those who missed a little more plot will be more content in the next book as the beginning of another threat started to rise in this one. Of course this book contains a lot of sexy time and when I say this I mean: smut. It’s a little different from the one we got before but all in all still fitting in my opinion! I feel like I have to mention that this is not YA anymore, this is definitely adult! . Sarah J. Maas did a great job again and I could see how much Nesta’s story meant to her while reading this book. . .
