Anyways, please enjoy this picture!! what are some of your favorite magical systems? because the magical system of this book was one of my actual favorites of all time: basically, there are different castes (named after birds) and all of them have different birthrights, meaning that a witch from each caste can perform that birthright (ex. fire). And crows, the lowest caste, have no birthright... but Crow witches are able to take the teeth from any other caste and use them to perform the birthright of the human who had the teeth!!
