Kate/Tyler kid: Lowkey grumpy asshole of a child, but is the eldest sibling personified. Very protective, and can be a bit too stubborn for their own good. Insanely loyal, and loves being around family. Probably skipped a few grades 😭

Javi/boone kid: "nine months in my belly and you come out looking like boone" kinda situation. As pretty as her daddy and is too smart for her own good but also incredibly resourceful and doesn't care about the law to do what she needs to do. Scariest mini girlboss. Javi's little lawyer in the making 🥺

Kate/Boone kid: goofy little boy who grows up to be taller than his mama. Has boone's smile and Kate's smarts but can be a bit lazy. Funny af

Javi/Kate kid: little weirdo. Think lilo from lilo and stitch lmao loves animals and kinda hates storms which kate thinks Is hilarious. Avid space lover and future astronomer but is into all thinks scary and weird and convinces her dad to get her a pet tarantula

Tyler/Javi kid: a little girl who's all booksmarts and sass. Probably the smartest of the bunch, but is very shy and prefers her books to stormchasing. In a world where Scott has a redemption arc, she is his favorite and she lovessss her grumpy uncle Scott (much to Tyler's disgust)

Tyler/Boone kid: an unholy mixture of their personalities without a shred of common sense to their own sense of safety. Would probably be a stuntsperson and loves a Rollercoaster. Will not stfu ever and would probbaly have run a successful travel channel

What made you ship it?

I stumbled across this fic (Secretly Married Boone/Javi) because the author writes really good Bob/Hangman from Top Gun, and it really did just spiral from there. There are a bunch of really great Boone/Javi fanfics in the ao3 tag, and I think I've gone through all of them at least twice. My love for this ship hit me like a fucking TRUCK

What are your favorite things about the ship?

It's opposites attract, but not really? I do think that Javi will forever have a gigantic stick up his ass, but I like to think that Boone brings out the part of him that learns how to relax and forgive himself.

I also think that Javi pushes Boone to want more for himself, and become more comfortable with who he is as a person (This is a whole nest of worms I could get into)

It's also lowkey sidekick x sidekick which is fun as hell. Overall, I do think they bring out the best in each other and they work better together than the other anticipated.

Is there an unpopular you have on your ship?

I really do not think that they initially cared for each other, and I do think it teetered a bit into "Oh, I fucking HATE that guy territory" lol Javi's work with StormPAR, and the fact that there was a genuine amount of animosity between him and the Wranglers left a bad first impression on everyone. He never disliked them the way Scott did, but he certainly wasn't shy about how he felt towards them and their stunts (probably the trauma but ya know).

Boone imo is very protective, and he picks up on things quick esp when it comes to people considering it's practically part of his job, and seeing Javi look down (or what felt like loooking down) rubbed him the wrong way for a LONG time.

lmao if you asked Javi five years ago if he'd be happy as can be living in a cozy trailer with that one annoying Wrangler he'd block you so fucking fast

What made you ship it?

I don't ship them as hard as I do with JaviBoone, BUT that scene when Tyler and Kate came back and Tyler was leaning over him apologizing like,,,I know what you are. I know what y'all get up too in that motel room

What are your favorite things about the ship?

I really do think they're each other anchors. Boone really is Tyler's right hand man, and Boone is so loyal towards him that they really wouldn't know what to do without each other.

They're the kind of ship where even if they aren't together romantically, they're still together in a sense that you can't have one without the other.

Is there an unpopular you have on your ship?

Not necessarily unpopular (bc this ship is kinda rare to see ngl), but I think that Tyler is more independent and doesn't always consider Boone (leaving with Kate without talking to him, lowkey snapping at him) because he's so used to him being right there by his side. It's not him being malicious, but i think that Boone has a bit of an issue pushing back and actually voicing his emotions.

There's a bit of a hero worship there too imo but it has def lessened over the years into something more mature and stable.
