Writing TylerJaviBoone, and it's so fun to see Boone and Tyler's relationship through Javi's eyes because there's a part of him that is distinctly envious of their bond while also finding it deeply fascinating and wonderful to witness.
And then there's Boone and Tyler who have been together for so long and are used to each other's habits and personalities, and seeing what it looks like when the other falls in love with someone else 😫😫

Most people assumed that Tyler and Boone met in high school, they’d be correct. However, people are wrong to think that they were immediately attached to the hip, they swung in and out of each other’s orbit, bumping into each other at tailgates and chatting lightly before going their separate ways. It’s not that they weren’t friends, they just tended to gravitate towards different groups. They occasionally ate lunch together or went to see a movie, but they rarely were around each other one-on-one. When they were 18, they truly became inseparable, brought together by a storm.
summary: They don't talk about this outside of sex. They never broach it. But for the moment, here, Boone knows he can have this - that Tyler will let him have this. Tyler’s always been far too indulgent with him.
