“Sweet, sweet Boonie... Y’know, he’s my best friend. I know I’m not technically his, because Tommy exists, but I’m okay with it. I mean, hear me out. I got lots of best friends. I got Boone and Diana and Lexa and Hazel, but Boone... He’s always been there for me. He was my first kiss too. Weird, right? We were sittin’ on some Ferris Wheel and all our other friends had dates and we thought why not. I’ll tell you why not... Y’shouldn’t kiss your best friend. It’s just not right. I remember us lookin’ at each other afterwards and we both were like ‘Ew. Yeah, that’s never happenin’ again’. But, we’ve been thick as thieves since elementary school.
