A (proper) Introduction to a dandys work au I've been thinking about lately

i've been working on a au(?) of a bootleg version of dandys world called Dandi's castle

when i say bootleg i mean literally. this is like if someone in the dandys world universe decided to make a bootleg version of dandys world to make money.

have notes of what i have on the lore so far under the cut (that i am willing to share because im more of a show not tell person)

the knock off toons names are (in order shown above) Dandi, solaris, tee, shelby, berri, and rocky. *solaris and rocky were made by a friend

the working conditions of dandi's castle is worse than dandys world conditions due to the dandi's castle studio having less budget *the toons are treated less kindly in the dandi's castle studio (ill let u interpret that for now) *the toons share a room instead of having their own seperate ones *execpt for tee, shes just pluged in near set and not turned on until filiming *there aren't any toon handlers only staff that take turns making sure toons stay on schedule * speaking of which, the toons time is treated very strictly due to time crunch of getting episodes out

the toons themselves are lower quality than their original counterparts *examples include: tee being more static and stiff in terms of movement and expressiveness, rocky being just a not sentient rock, berri being a mock strawberry instead of a real one, etc (the etc is what i want to show later) *weridly enough dandi and solaris are about equal in quality to their counterparts because most of the toon making budget was spent on them

atleast one of these guys is going to have a extistental crisis
