A goof
a couple of absolute menaces
Cookie #9! Except these are cookies for dogs. Mr. Berry enjoyed his treats very much and I was very surprised since he usually only eats cheese and meats!
Here he is trying it!
one hecking good majestic boy 💜
couldn’t get her to look at the camera
anyway rodeo got his first rabies shot today!! and his weight came in at 15.7lbs, almost double the weight of when he came to us 9 weeks ago 🥺🥺🥺
he’s growing SO fast and is likely gonna max out around 22lbs. i just cannot believe how quickly he’s growing 😭
he’s also come SUCH a long way with potty training which has made my life so much easier haha
and he still plays every day with his best friend pippin who lives downstairs 🥺
and rodeo and annie are getting along amazingly too!! they play every day, which is so nice bc annie is usually quite reserved with other dogs. she’s very cautious. but they play so well together now!!
i tried to introduce annie and rodeo to bubbles and they both hated it 😭 annie gave off big “don’t you ever put me in a situation” vibes
My dog turned 1 last week!! To celebrate I made him a cake. He only ate the frosting but that’s okay!
Are Border Collies More Hyper Than Border Aussies? Both Border Collies and Border Aussies (a Border Collie–Australian Shepherd mix) are high-energy, intelligent dogs, but their “hyper” traits feel different. Border Collies have an intense, work-focused drive, need more mental stimulation, and often struggle to “switch off,” making them seem more hyper. Border Aussies match their activity levels but balance mental and physical energy with a playful, goofy personality, and they tend to relax more easily. Key differences: Energy vibe: Collies are serious and focused; Aussies are more fun-loving. Mental needs: Collies need complex jobs; Aussies enjoy varied, lighter challenges. Chill mode: Collies stay “on”; Aussies are likelier to nap after play. Hyper habits: Collies show obsessive behaviors; Aussies display playful chaos. Exercise: Both require 1–2 hours daily, but Collies prefer purposeful work, Aussies enjoy games. Bottom line: Border Collies often feel more hyper due to their relentless mental drive and weaker off-switch, while Border Aussies’ energy is equally high but expressed with more flexibility and playfulness. Both breeds thrive with active, engaged owners who provide daily exercise and mental challenges.
