#borderlands #borderlands lilith #borderlands roland #borderlands 2 #wish the writers did! literally anything with this! :]#lilith and roland are like objectively terrible people and dear god i would like their characters so much more if the writers knew this #so concerned with having a marketable fan favorite character to make merch of and put in every single game that they missed out on their-#-most interesting plot point #which is that they suck #lilith and roland being terrible is SO GOOD it means SO MUCH TO ME #THEY SUCK!! :DDDD YIPPEEE!!!#their characters acting as the “good guys” but slowly revealing themselves to be worse and worse leading to the finale making you question-#-your characters actions and motives is SO GOOD #especially once TPS came out and changed EVERYTHING- learning just how rancid of people they are is integral to them as characters #and then the writers just tossed the whole idea in the trash to make lilith the Hero<3333TM and its annoying #lilith was going to kill athena because athena (rightfully) compared her to jack. thats crazy. i love it #lilith and roland like. dont see brick and krieg or any of the bandits as like. people #they IN PLAIN TEXT admit to seeing them as lesser and evil #they say these things #the crimon raiders and hyperion are just as bad at the other and the game shoves this in your face and then bl3 came out and just ignored i #and it sucks because lilith would have been so much better if they leaned into the fact that she is not the hero. shes just who survived.
