clementine kruczynski from “eternal sunshine of the spotless mind” is borderline
Ron has Borderline Personality Disorder and even though he was only diagnosed after the war, he had symptoms since his fourth year when he started splitting on Harry after he thought Harry abandoned him to enter the TriWizard Tournament. He often had trouble controlling his emotions, especially involving people he loved like Harry and Hermione and the locket horcux made all his negative emotions worse, especially his fear of abandonment and his anger, which was one of the main catalysts for his leaving during the hunt for the horcruxes. But his disorder also had it's benefits, he has extremely high empathy and is fiercely protective which made his later career as an Auror exceptionally successful. In addition his intense love for people he cares about made him a wonderful father. After the article where Rita Skeeter outed him as being mentally ill (an act that landed her in the hospital by Hermione's hand shortly after the paper was published) he publicly started an organization to help wizards with BPD, especially students, learn how to control their magic during emotional times, and grow their self confidence.
