what are scud art and food like?
Not quite sure yet! They are opportunistic scavengers so they’ll eat basically anything with some nutritional value, and their art forms are gonna be limited by them living in a great big puddle of solvent. So not a lot of easily dissolvable stuff like paintings, unless painted with resin, more stuff like stone carving and sculpture

You know how Abe Lincoln viewed his stepmom as his angel mother? Yeah, that’s similar to Cailan and Fiona.
Cailan comes to rely on Fiona’s council, probably even more than Maric does.
He also...I’ve said this before, but if one could convert to being an elf, the way one can convert to Judaism, Cailan would probably the moment he was able to. Elven history and culture draw the two closer together. Cailan will, whether I mention it or not, hire workers to excavate Elven ruins on lands of friendly nobles they’re allowed to work on (Loghain /seems/ to, based on the map, have ownership of two Elven ruins we see in DAO, so those to start.) Also buying Elven artifacts from nobles in other countries for her.
Part of it is, simply, giving Alistair a shield to learn about his heritage (If Alistair, who’s elf-blooded began paying royal money to excavate elven tombs and stuff, that would be read completely differently from Cailan doing the same.), but a lot of it is just genuine interest.
They’re SUPER close.

Actually, very likely yes, though in quite different forms!
There’s probably a legacy hero version of Body Shock ala Spider-Girl or Spider Man 2099, and the original Body Shock’s probably mentoring a new crop of weirdo misfit mutants; taking on much bigger foes than the street-level criminals she used to fight; even having buried the hatchet with her old foe Boss McGlade!
TITLEWave Red Hot Roach; on the other hand; is more like one of the Heisei Kamen Rider series, IE it’s a different character with a different origin/villains/main-gimmick but he carries over a lot of the same ideas/aesthetic-choices.
Which, believe it or not, I at one point had a short list of Red Hot Roach AU-type alt-incarnations that I still need to fill out one of these days. Maybe I could put that one on there too…

Ooooh, this is gonna take a bit to write but, I’ll give it a shot! At least for the most prominent ones!
Ooky Spooky: She likes someone willing to go along with her shenanigans and aid in her adventures; or who can at least roll with the punches on them. She tends to prefer dates anywhere kistchy or weird; like tourist traps or novelty restaurants or Mondo Mondays at the Loft Cinema. Like, she’s literally developed a spell to spawn an animatronic band from any restaurant she goes to, that’s her kinda thing.
BodyShock: She likes muscles, but also emotional tenderness in a partner. She likes dates anywhere that’s cheap and where she can get large amounts of food for cheap. Like, she’d be one of the few folks who’d dig a Taco Bell date.
Cybernetic Queen: What CQ appreciates is passion and zest; a mind willing to delve deep into mysteries; a hothead to counter her more measured; bookish approach. She usually prefers dates in the Digital Realm, usually in abandoned or deep places.
Carkinekros: Thinkin about it she doesn’t seem like the romantic type, at least at this stage of her writing, but I will say she will eagerly go on any expensive date where she’s not paying.
Pumpqueen: Halloween and Halloween, as the answer for both of those.
Love Buster: She likes creative souls, folks who’re committed to their art with bold; vivid styles and who she can jam/collab with. She also mainly likes concerts for date nights.
Burn Doll: She likes good sparring partners, anyone committed to the improvement of their combat craft as her. Her idea of a date is basically a sparring match, usually in some abandoned place where Ki-splosions are allowed.
Guro Glam: She tends to like people who’ve gone through a lot of hardship, both in the emotional sense and in the “they’re fucked-up mutants” sense, because she’s surprisingly nurturing despite her unsettling reputation. The kinds of dates she likes would bump this blog up to an NSFW rating if described.

Fighting demons, but not for reasons you’d think. Bull is just outright scared of them. Thalia genuinely mourns having to kill them because she knows they were once just spirits trying to mind their own business.
To her, it is no different than murdering an innocent person that went mad from a dreadful experience.
29.) How do they handle disasters or emergencies? Minor injuries? Sickness?
Handling disasters, emergencies, minor injuries, and sickness is literally Thalia’s job. She may be the Inquisitor, the Herald of Andraste, and a bunch of other silly titles the shems think she is, but she is a healer first and foremost. Though it can be just as overwhelming as any battle, Thalia knows precisely what she’s doing - so it’s a lot less screaming.
Before Bull had feelings for her, he handled these situations just as he would with his soldiers; “slap a bandage on it” “pour some booze on it” “drink a poultice- wait no don’t do that, it tastes like shit.” Once he did get the feelings, Bull reacted with all the dramatic, unnecessary limb chopping one would expect when the tiny, pacifistic lover of a giant, Reaver mercenary is threatened.
In short, not calmly.

Well they both definitely know when the other is hiding something. Bull is...uh, Bull, and Thalia is far more observant than people give her credit for. He tries to play coy with it because that is what he’s used to doing with everyone else, but Thalia doesn’t have the time or tact for that bullshit so she’ll straight up call his ass out. This forces them both to be 100% honest with each other at all times. Worse things have happened, I think.
As for habits they’ve picked up, Bull has become slightly softer in his judgement of people, and tends to whistle or hum songs he’s heard her sing. Thalia, meanwhile, has turned into a total potty mouth. This girl didn’t curse at all before he came along. Now every other word she says is “shit” or “fuck” or “jump up your own ass”
He tries to slide the blame onto Sera, but no one’s buying it.
