Boreas holds 7 main clans, the first four and the largest existing clans are the Woodland Tribe whom live high up above ground in the giant forest. The patient hunters of the tundra, the plains clan, the mountainlands yautja whom pray to the god of skies and the mother of the night. And the wandering souls of Boreas and their connection to the realm beyond, the Nomad Tribe.
These four trbes have a high connnection to the major deities of fire (plains, woodlands), the skies (Mountainlands) and the earth (Nomads, plains, Woodlands)
O'ku is the current clan leader of the woodland Yautjas and the only current male amongst the other leaders. Long ago their old leader died to illness, that same night a fire broke out and before the elders and shaman could pick a new leader, chaos spread. O'ku took it upon himself with his trusty companion Naxa (a giant bird being) to lead his clan to safety and stop the fire from spreading- and he was successful. No one died that night, and the high elders and Shaman announced him as the new clan leader.
Woodland yautjas have patterns similar to bears, wolverines, mountain lions, and such. They blend in with their surroundings. they have muscluar arms to help them climb, long thick claws as well. They can pull their claws back.
Zin'thea is the current clan leader of the plains Yautja and a fierce warrior. These Yautjas are very patient and stalk their prey and chase them down like a wild pack of wolves. The have 2 homes, tunnel systems that lead into caves and also their huts in trees at the forest edge.
The prey they consume has high amounts of iron in its body, which causes their teeth and fangs to be coated in iron, giving it its typical red coluration. Huskey, wolf, hare and bisons are their patterns and colurs. they are runners and climbers.
Bahit and her clan have long ago seperated from the Woodlands yautja and have moved up into the mountains. They mine elements there and build great machines and are the source material for nearly any other clan.
They love decorating themselves in jewelry and pretty paints. they often trade with the canyon yautjas. They are mostly nocturnal, their patterns are based on raccons, mountain goats, bats, mountain lions and such. They have great vision.
Vi'tea is the current shaman and Clan leader of the Nomad tribe. These yautjas are naturally born with light colored tendrils, unlike regular yautjas whos normally are darker shades. They move with a giant herd of beings similar to gaint mammoth reindeer mixes.
They are closely connected to the spirit of the earth and follow the flow of the planet. They also travel over all conntinets, as with time ice sheets form on the ocean and create giant bridges to the other continents. Their patterns are based on deer, reindeer, bisions, wooly mammoths and such.
hi q you get bleach boreas au my beloved -- tldr powerless fullbringer arc ichigo stumbles across an abandoned shrine and meets a tiny little god who is fading away from lack of worship; i got powerfully hit by the mental image of ichigo telling this little god "I guess we've both been abandoned" and it wouldnt leave my brain for the next month
so ichigo finds this abandoned shine and he thinks "fuck, that's me" and he starts cleaning it out on a whim, leaves an offering, he doesn't have much to do now that he's done saving the world for a bit, and all of a sudden he can see the shrine's god and he's a bit freaked out but the god (koshin) is so faded and barely there because he's been forgotten so they just kind of. talk for a bit. and eventually they sort of become friends
and when it comes down to it ichigo makes friends so terribly easily and would do literally anything to protect them so he starts really awkwardly advertising so koshin doesn't straight up fade away forever but it doesn't really take off until he sees a group of punks vandalizing the shrine one day and they notice that he's glowing slightly while chasing them off
the group of punks whisper "what the actual hell" to each other and then quietly start coming back and making offerings
other highlights of this au include
- ichigo going around and helping out the people who prayed to the god because koshin really can't do much other than offer some small blessings; starts hearing the prayers as whispers in his head
- ichigo and koshin being dramatic foils; ichigo is very much a tough love punch first kind of person and koshin is a very mild kind little guy who'd probably thank you if you punched him
- ichigo very obviously talking to the air while people who are just at the shrine to make offerings give him weird looks
- one of the few things koshin can do is make flowers, and he tucks them into ichigo's hair when he stops by on the way to school
- when shit inevitably starts going down and ichigo ends up wounded on koshin's shrine after trying to help someone who made an offering koshin is kneeling over him and crying as he tries to pour any power he has into ichigo to heal him and apologizing that he can do so little while ichigo his follower is doing So Much and ichigo just looks at him and says "you're my friend, idiot."
there's actually a little bit of this one tucked in my google drive somewhere but the only stuff I know about shintoism is entirely based on things from the natsume yuujincho manga and frankly i don't want to overstep and write smth disrespectful so for now it just lives inside my head <3
The last 3 Clans are the Coastel tribe (Ju'luar-kha Clan), the 10 families of the Ocean and the Weavers of the Canyons. These clans share deep connections to the ocean god and the god of the skies (weavers).
5. Mo'theath, the young Matriach, is the leader of the Ju'luar-kha Clan (coastal tribe) and the Queen of Yautjas on Aga'bhu'ya. A warrior of the gods, having battled all clan leaders and claimed her right as matriach via defeating in a battle to the death the last one. Currently the youngest tribe leader amongst the others, and the youngest Yautja to become grand matriach.
Coastel yautjas are fishers and great swimmers. They have a lot of shells on their clothes. Their patterns are based on sea lions, seals, crabs and birds.
6. Anukui the Immortal, the oldest living yautja and the representive of the ocean yautjas. No one really knows how old she is, but half the current ocean yautja population is related to her which has lead to the act of ocean yautjas seeking out mates from different tribes to not commit inbreeding. Ocean yautjas dont live in a large tribe but small family groups. Once a year they all meet up, were they follow Anukuis lead (they follow the oldest species member). Ocean yautja patterns can be any type of whale or sea animal, really. They have a thick layer of blubber which keeps them warm in the fridget waters of the ocean.
7. Do'jieta is a dangerous merchant, the proud leader of the canyon tribe. These Yautjas have specialised in harvesting the silk from giant spiders as well as harvest special plants which they turn into medicine, paints and with the sap they make jewlery. These yautjas are based on snow leopards, spiders, ice bears and such. They are very theatrical.
So on Boreas, theres six major gods and several lesser deities.
The main gods are the gods of the sea, the air, the ground, the skies, the living and the dead.
every clan has elders and a shaman whom was picked by one of the gods of the planet and bears their mark. They are amongst the most important members of a tribe, as they know the secrets of the world around them and are the key to keeping balance. The first great Matriach of the planet when the yautjas first arrived was a shaman.
A important character in the Ju'luar-kha Clan is Aiya (@only-aliens oc) the shaman whom was picked by the great ancient god of the ocean. He is very beloved and cherished in his community and often helps out with the young pups. His current apprentice is Husky (adoptive daughter of Orca and Mo'theath)
Most clans function all the same:
- theres merchants
- Hunters, Warriors
- Weavers, Gatherers,
- Electrictians/ Engeniers
- The leaders whom ensure everyones safety and theres no issues
- the shaman and healers
These are some of the duties within the tribes. Of course theres hunts were youngbloods leave their home to go prove themself, theres also a time in every five years were nearly all females leave the planet to go on their own hunting trips with one another. A break from leading and taking care of pups. while all clans meet up and the males are working together keeping the pups save. Its also the time were they learn swimming (the Malakopinna rite)

Im gonna explain a little about the lore I have written down for my Planet were Yautjas wandered to long ago and settled there and lost connection to Yautja Prime.
Aga'bhu'ya, meaning "realm of the soul" is the native name of the planet. Humans have labled the planet "Boreas".
Aga'bhu'ya has three main continents, the largest being called Thwei Tjau’ke because of its red mountains, the second largest is named Gua'Dek as the largest lake there glows at night like a giant eye.
And the smallest continet is named Kv’var-de'Mar’ctes the hunter killer, as most young bloods try to hunt there and end up being devoured seeming by the continent itself.
All the numbers are were yautja clans exist.
The coastal yautjas, the Ju'luar-kha Clan, live by the coast and the tundra. The current clan leader is also the Matriach of Aga'bhu'ya.
the woodland yautjas, no name yet, they have split into two main clans. The ones living in the trees in the giant forest and those whom have moved to live in the peaks of the mountains and its cave systems.
the plains yautjas, they live at the edge of the forest and in the vast tundra
the canyon yautjas, No name yet, they live in the far cayons up above ground.
the ocean yautjas, no names yet, they dont live as one big clan but similar to whales in pods with their families and their tames.
the nomads, no name yet, follow massive herds around the planet and are tightly knitted with the realm of the souls.
the yellow ring is the area were the clans will bring their younglings every couple of years to teach them how to swim with the Malakopinna returning to brood and raise their young themself. A old tradition kept alive for nowadays the sake of tradition.
Phobos is the version of Hyrule that Bora left behind. Named after the Greek personification of panic and fear, Phobos has spent a long time under the influence of some sort of magic/life drain ability. Unable to use magic the same way he once could, Phobos is still coming back to himself since Bora has been gone.
He spends a lot of his time around Deimos, trying to ease his worries but knowing its a fruitless endeavour.
Deimos is the version of Warriors that Bora left behind. Nicknamed after the Greek personification of terror and dread, Deimos' goal has shifted towards saving the rest of the chain from whatever has taken over the youngest, even if that means exiling Wind to do so. He feels a sense of guilt for everything that has happened.
After all, he was the one who told Wind about the war.
