That is unbelievable! And sad for your mother. Gardens are such a joy. And sometimes bring loss (for me anyway - no more impulse purchases!)
I have not been successful in gardening at my current place - too many trees and buildings so none of the plants get the sunshine they need. I’m sad over the peas and carrots as I love fresh peas and carrots.

Are the snow and cold temps supposed to keep up or will she be able to salvage the garden?
No, it’s supposed to stay at freezing tonight. She may be able to salvage some of the root vegetables but the lettuces are gone. She does have a brand new greenhouse, so the tomatoes are safe for now.

This really, really depends on the circumstances. I think I would need some time and space to evaluate what happened and go from there.

Playing Legend of Zelda. (hahaha - okay) Seriously, I’d spend a lot of time working on my novel and traveling.

Headcanon for future Blam?
Oh man! They stay close as ever! There’s a little seperation anxiety when Kurt and Blaine go back to New York. And as much as he loves Rachel, Blaine was sometimes envious that Kurt’s best friend was right there in the city. Sam came to visit a few times, since Kurt and Blaine had a room for him, and they always got together when Blaine was in Ohio. But it wasn’t the same and they missed each other a lot. There’s tons of texting and facetiming and Sam made it a habit to snapchat the randomest things to Blaine.
When big comic book movies came out and they couldn’t see them together, they’d schedule to try to go to the movie at the same time at their seperate theaters so they could facetime after it was over. Kurt thought it was adorable, even if he didn’t get it. Sam came to New York for all the big moments, even the ones he didn’t understand like opening night of Virginia Woolfe. Blaine went to Ohio once when his Mom was having surgery and he helped in Glee club that whole week. When Blaine got a little more famous, he took Sam (and Burt) to the Superbowl.
When Rachel had the baby, Sam stayed with them for a week to help out. And when Sam and Mercedes got back together, Sam called Blaine from the bathroom of their first date freaking out because he knew this was their last go at it, it would either work and be forever, or it wouldn’t work and be off forever. And the first time he and Mercedes slept together, Sam called Blaine practically in tears the next day.
Yeah, I might have one or two Blam related headcanons.

This is another tough one. And my answer might possibly change in a week or two. But right now I would have to say Psych. It does prove to be forever rewatchable.
