Summary of Boruto 29
Boruto sells his soul to Momoshiki in exchange for itch-free karma and one Byakugan. Everyone who has been waiting the last decade for the Jougan to show up falls to the ground weeping in frustration.
Shikamaru orders Boruto, Kawaki, Himawari, Shikadai, and Chocho around Konoha to battle Mamushi spawns like they're on a giant shogi board.
Meanwhile, the Daimyo's representative interrogates Mitsuki about Boruto's escape. Konohamaru tries to take the fall, claiming he "forgot to set the lock" on Boruto's handcuffs. No one in the room believes him.
The Sensory Unit finally notices the Tree Men in unitards flying around town and call Sai. Sai then connects on the telepathy line to Shikamaru, who pretends he hasn't been fighting Mamushi clones for the past 20 pages and orders Mitsuki out of detention.
