Intactivism in action! We had a fabulous turnout for a slightly rainy Saturday. Eight human rights activists stand outside the Liberty Hotel in Boston yesterday raising awareness about the harms of forced genital cutting. While we were in this location a woman came up to us and took our picture. She said she supported our message and shared that her daughter was a midwife who would give a discount to parents who chose not to circumcise. While this a a wonderful step in the right direction- it is not enough! These doctors, midwives and other medical practitioners need to be CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTORS!
