Here, the mention of ‘the pale bastard’ triggers a hallucination of Boudreaux’s dead lover (he still hallucinates her a year after her death but more frequently and disturbingly when certain things remind him off her.)

Had fun drawing a couple characters from a D&D podcast I've been listening to called Tomes of the Chaos Bard. It's a family friendly one, and I've really enjoyed it. Boudreaux(the dwarf in the picture) is my favorite character. He's hilarious. (Also, he's played by a friend of mine) When I listened to this scene I had to draw Boudreaux and Lyla mudding up. XD It was an amusing mental image.
