it’s about time i post my polybots sparkling on here, my bad for taking this long to getting around to it LOL

this is dispatch (nicknamed pebble by their parents)! like it says on their ref, they’re an ambulance and were created by doc greene! using all four of her sires cna, she was made in a test tube. this was preferable to one of the bots carrying given how dangerous and stressful their line of work is. they also happen to be cody’s partner in the field! which they also happen to be named after him in a way, given that cody’s job is the dispatcher. their parents and all of the burnses adore them and i hope you guys do too!

Heatwave/Chase/Boulder/Blades Headcanons

• All had a mutual crush on Charlie Burns at some point in time and openly talked about it. It was a big gossip ring between the four, as they all found Charlie incredibly attractive. Charlie knew solely because Chase couldn't keep it a secret.

• In their relationship, Blades fell first, Boulder second, Chase third, and Heatwave last. Despite falling for the other three so much later, he fell the hardest. Everything he does is for them.

* Heatwave, at first, expressed his love through gift giving and small deeds. Yet, as he did so, he was learning how to communicate the things he felt verbally. Verbal expression hadn't always been his strong suit, given he convinced himself he needed to be a model leader- stubborn and headstrong. He learned that wasn't always the case (and his partners were so proud of him)!

• Blades learned human holiday traditions so he could celebrate them with the other Rescuebots. His favorite, for obvious reasons, is Valentine's Day! He gets to make cards, Energon treats, and goes to get flowers with Boulder (because Boulder definitely knows flower language and what each symbolizes). Each card was personalized for each individual! He even matched their color schemes the best he could.

• Chase often initiates physical affection so his other partners know he's alright to be touched. He will hug and kiss their cheeks initially to let them know he wants to cuddle. This affection is never shown outside of their quarters, simply because it's something he only wants his mates to see.

• Boulder, as I've mentioned before, loves painting his partners. But he often has them group up so he can do group paintings. And yes, he will paint himself with his partners. They have various of these paintings hung up in their private quarters. Heatwave is the one who insisted they have their own section of the wall, along with their actual pictures.

• Blades found out about photo booths one time and decided to try and replicate it for someone bot-sized. A lot of funny antics ensued, and the power grid of Griffin Rock might've gone out for 48 hours, leaving the population without power- but! He did manage to replicate a perfect photo booth photograph for him and his partners. His contraption was also a fire hazard that after use, did have to be put out, but he views the efforts as worth it!

• Charlie has been included in many of their dates. He has gone out star-gazing and nature walking. Did he know it was dates? Obviously, but he was happy to be included in it because he does return the attraction.. even if he's not "officially" part of the relationship just yet.

• Heatwave never told Kade that he was in a relationship. I mentioned this in a former post that the Burns didn't really know for a long time- yeah, Kade took the longest. While Blades, Chase, and Boulder happily talked about their relationship once their human companions found out, Heatwave never did. He wasn't embarrassed by it, no, he just didn't view it as work appropriate to discuss his personal relationships. Kade found out entirely by accident because he saw Heatwave kissing/cuddling with one of his partners and got suspicious (this was like two years after the rest of his family found out).

• Chase got the team invested in playing cards during game night, mainly because he knew Heatwave was competitive and cards are usually a game of chance. To all of their dismay, Heatwave has one hell of a game face, and they found it hard to read. And yes, he ends up winning over half of the games or rage quitting. Don't worry, though! They always calm him down/reward him with some kisses! <3

• Chase, Blades, and Boulder all love rom-coms or celebrity romance series. Leave them alone for a few hours and they're huddled around a small TV watching Love Island. Heatwave pretends not to care, but he stands in the back, secretly investing and rooting for one of the "crew" on the show. If there's a couple that he finds particularly charming, he might comment on accident, then immediately try to take his opinion back when the other three turn to him. They all have that sparkle in their optics that tells him he's caught.

More rescue bot fankids time!! (Airspace-left, Reburn-right)

Airspace and Reburn have a unique relationship. They’re almost the exact opposite of each other. Reburn is the eldest child out of all her siblings while Airspace is the youngest. They are both the children of Blades but their childhoods and relationships with him are so so different. Reburn wants nothing to do with him or anyone else in the family, especially not Airspace. Not because Airspace did anything, she barely even knows who Reburn is, but because Reburn feels an immense hurt deep in her spark seeing how her carrier could have been when she was growing up.

Airspace on the other hand is so curious about Reburn. She wants to know more about her older sister but Reburn is rarely around. Her other siblings have a slight grasp on why Reburn isn't around because they all existed when she was still a presence in the family, but Airspace is just left to wonder why. Nobody really talks about it, saying some variation of “it’s not my place to tell” out of respect for Reburn’s decisions. On the off chance that she gets to interact with Reburn the most she’s ever gotten were short responses.

Even though Airspace rarely sees her she still loves Reburn.

I personally view the bots as all Non-binary and they don't really care about pronouns . They tend to switch around with them whenever . But I might use she/her on Boulder more frequently because I love her

They all have a deep understanding of eachother minus a few things here and there . I feel like Boulder would be the most physically affectionate (Baldes is a close 2nd)!! I mostly think that bc of that one tiny moment during the time capsule episode where she's like "I'm ready to embrace everyone" !!

I really like Blades and Heatwave's relationship in the show . Their teasing is very entertaining to me and it never really went away in rba either . Anyways those two were the first to get into a relationship, the rest fell into place after that .

Chase's affections aren't obvious at first glance but they mean everything to the other 3 . They, in my opinion, get flustered the easiest . They all get flustered somewhat easy but he's 1st . Boulder and Chace have little "nerd-out" sessions where they simply listen to the other ramble abt their interests and such . Chase is the 1# fan of Boulder's art and will—politely—debate anyone who claims otherwise .

Reburn—as I said on her post she was an oops baby . Im still trying to figure out the timeline between rb and rba but I'd say she was forged at some point during rb season 3 and was already 17-ish by the time the Academy opened and was only a student for a short amount of time before heading off with her own team . She mostly does rescues in space because she lowk doesn't like Earth . Reburn definitely has a big temper, almost like Heatwave but worse, and a lot of times she would clash with him . She's working on her anger issues now but has a bad habit of burying herself in her work to run away from problems . Now its more prominent because the last time she visited her family it didn't end so great .

Seabell—They're a naturally distant fellow by nature but they have their moments where all they want to do is be with one of their creators . Like I said, Seabell isn't actually a rescue bot recruit, they just shadow Percy . Heatwave was adamant that they learn at least the basics because you never know what could happen . Seabell used to look more like Chase and they used to be a grounder before they scanned a submersible as their new alt mode . It stung Hw and Chase a little when they did but seeing how happy Seabell was they ultimately supported them . Seabell also spends a lot of time with High Tide because thats grandpa .

Airspace—She’s the baby of the family, still considered a sparkling by some . She likes to go bug catching with Boulder and loves the garden(?) at the Academy . She gets along well enough with the other recruits but she's too young to start properly training . For now she's just an observer and spends most of her time exploring Griffin Rock . She wants to explore Wayward Island but Blades is hesitant, they promised she can go when she's older .

Torchlight— Their stuff is done I haven't revealed them yet . She's Seabell's older sibling btw🤫Torchlight is actually an older OC that was originally Firestar's niece . I might keep that the same (Heatwave Firestar sibling hc walk with me)

HM: Whirl is clearly the chaseblades baby im sorry you cant convince me otherwise . Blue helicopter who likes detective stuff?? Thats their sparkling ...

There's also another (not polybots) baby that ive been conceptualizing and its Bumbleblades🤞
