BOULDERCLAN'S STARTING CATS

A set of cats on the run from Orioleclan after Snailstar and Swarmfoot were accused of killing the Orioleclan deputy. Each of them gathered their closest companions (and Wingnoise managed to convince the Orioleclan leader's daughter to grab one of her younger siblings and sprint out with the crew) and they all booked it to a mountain range.

Some background lore notes:

Wingnoise was in a relationship with the dead deputy. They kept it secret primarily because Orioleclan's leader (Hazelstar) didn't want her deputy in a relationship.

Hazelstar is on her 4th life.

Meadowpatch is Gustspeckle's aunt.

Ahh I've been waiting to get to this boy!! This is Mudsnout, Boulderclan's most senior warrior. He's been resistant to retiring officially since he still believes he has knowledge to pass onto apprentices and young warriors.

He's kind of everyones grandpa and is happy to silently take part in some shenanigans (oh playing hide and seek with the kits? surely theyre not all buried in his fur where no one can see!!)

anyways don’t you guys forgot to give boulderclan and the Sanctuary some love! I love fogclan but I wanna know what’s going on in the other groups too, their legends and all.

Don't worry, we will! We've currently got some big lore things brewing for Boulderclan >:) We're also getting ready to announce the clans leader.... but in the meantime here are some territory tidbits to tide you over

The starting crew of Boulderclan, my effort at a Clangen comic.

The story behind the group is that Snailstar was previously Snailface, a member of Orioleclan. Rippleknoll and Rosekit are both children of Spiralstar, the current (at the time) leader of Orioleclan; when Snailstar finally grew tired of Spiralstar's indecision she rounded up a few others who were feeling the strain of the clan's collapsing power structure.

Snailstar had been the deputy of Orioleclan before her departure.

They're a rowdy crew :') my goal is to get like... a page? done a week? we'll see what winds up happening.

I'm playing Clangen with the Colorsplash mod, which is great and makes everything even more fun ghflkhglfh I love my vibrant little fools.

#verse: boulderclan is going to be the tag i use for them, so block that if you're not interested in this.

also yes, Snailstar does have a mullet.
