Meet the Dash Family!
Fun Fact: I had to redesign Rainbow so many times because I had too many ideas for her! There were too many things that I wanted to do with her! I think in the end I was able to pick and choose well enough that she still has some resemblance to her family members.
Also, @sananaryon shared a lot of ideas and headcanons she has for Rainbow, and it very much inspired me to come up with so many ideas of my own! So I owe a huge thanks to her for rambling at me and letting me ramble back at her.
For RD's parents, I don't really have much for Hothoof. I think he looks like a sweet, supportive, and just a tad overbearing dad. A real himbo of a father. Windy, on the other hand, I have so much for her. I am not gonna share everything right now because I love leaving a good mystery to get people interested. The first note is that, in my version of things, pegasus can have multiple wings without having to be Celestia's level of god-like being. It is, however, a rarity for them to have full wings (like Windy's) instead of mini ones (like RD has). Pegasus with multiple sets of wings tend to be important people or of higher status, because the closer you are related to the royal bloodline, the more likely you are to have multiple wings. Or, in Windy Whistle's case, you are a child who was left at an orphanage because your very important parents did not want a scandalous child. Windy's case is extra special because she later reconnected with her mother, and the two have a somewhat stable relationship.
I also decided to include Rainbow's grandmother in the height chart, just for reference :)
