Honestly I am loving the Peter Pan narrative in Alien:Earth. Morrow being captain hook and the alien being the crocodile is very fun.

Which does mean that if Boy Cavalier is Peter Pan, then Kirsh is Tinkerbell.

So I'm watching Alien Earth while working on some side projects and I gotta say... I know he's probably evil (I'm only 4 episodes in) but I kind of fuck with Kirsh.

He's so sassy for a synth, but it's his interactions with Isaac that I'm really digging and I have a bad feeling about it.

boy kavalier who secretly collects the nerdiest shit, every new edition of technology, keeps hidden where no one knows.

kavalier who likes to munch on stuff on meetings to annoy the other people

Kavalier who just wants to be understood and is really restless about it, big brain energy

Kavalier who will stick his foot in your face when youre not paying attention to him because he is that weird, will probably try to talk with them mocking you

Kavalier likes to tease, he says hes not a brat but he is, especially if you figure out how to kill his ego and mock him- yeah, that’s when he starts to get bratty, pouting- trying to prove he’s not

Writing my next Kirshtober, and having a 🤯 moment:

Kavalier said Kirsh was responsible for the lab and specimens.

AFTER this we have the whole montage about the opening the egg and Joe's lung being taken out.

Now I wonder... FROM WHO CAME THE IDEA OF USING JOE'S LUNG? We can ASSUME the lung was taken and prepared a time before Kirsh started his experiment.

And I can't help but wonder: who said "let's use Wendy's brother lung, so we have him control of him AND Wendy AND we have total control of how the Xenomorph appears, if it's enough some organic material or if it needs specific conditions found in the stomach to gestate"? Kavalier or Kirsh? If Kirsh was the sole responsible for that lab, it would make sense for him to also be behind Joe's lung.

I have questions.

im thinking how long will we have to wait till s2?

two years? for more Kirsh on the screen .... nooo ... was it co firmed yet? why is noone talking abt it ?!?! we are in the middle of s1 an no info on s2... its gonna be a nightmare. i hope there will be more fics soon.....

Alien: Earth has confirmed something about Tech Bros like Boy Cavelier we already knew about: They are dangerous idiots.

Seriously, what sane person thinks putting a dying eleven year old’s mind into an adult looking robot body and think that's a good idea?

And there's the whole ‘finders keepers’ attitude with dangerous unknown alien specimens, one of which went on a massive killing spree. Like he's a little kid finding new toys.

I just hope that the future presented in the Alien franchise is preventable. With people like Cavelier in charge, it seems more like nightmare fuel before you throw in the Xenomorph.
