update: just finished watching semantic error yesterday.

ik I’ve been putting that series on hold for awhile but that’s just me sometimes. i was def surprised that the storyline was interesting! great casting as well and I don’t just mean the two main leads but everyone of them.

This was the 2nd korean bl series that I’ve watched after wyel but I wasn’t really attracted to that storyline but i still did managed finished watching it. This time around was just fluff enough that made the whole watching experience funny for me. Park Seoham is just imo, oppa material 100%!! 😂 Not forgetting his and Jaechan’s height difference, gosh so freakin adorable! Chemistry is top notch as well, on and off screen. If any of you guys reading this haven’t watch it, please do, you won’t regret it <3 plus, its only 20+min per episode so why not right?

LOVELY WRITER // REVIEW

So I’ve just finished watching Lovely Writer’s final episode and boy it’s been a ride for this. Honestly speaking I hated waiting new episodes every week and because of that I nearly forgotten about the finale because I was already caught up with other series BUT anyway back to the main point is that this series has been an eye opener. Mostly to those obsessive bl fans. I know these days maybe they’re starting to toned down A LOT already because people learned from mistakes and it’s okay.

Actors are humans too. What they portray on screen are never really reality. Same as what people portray on social media is never really 100% true. Actos are entertainers. Everything they do are for entertainment and if they get bashed by not living up to your standards then YOU are the problem. True, maybe sometimes co-stars did became real life couple but that is 1 in 10 chances of it happening. We could ship yes! But if intruding their personal life I really think that is totally not right at all.

This series has showed that. Maybe just merely the surface of it but still we could all enjoy and understand the darker side they were trying to convey in this series. Though they are some flaws..loop holes if you would called it but then I guess a lot of series are like that as well and I think by now we’re pretty much used to it.

I do recommend to you guys who haven’t watch this series and do give it a go. Try to understand the darker side of it as much the lovey dovey scenes. I don’t wanna give out spoilers but the ending with that 3 scenes was kinda hilarious. When I was watching those scenes, my mom watched it together with me and she laughed. (Did I mentioned she ever watched UWMA so she recognized Kao)

My intention was never to insult or upset anyone. These are all just my personal opinion as to what you wanna believe is totally up to you. I respect whatever your opinions are as I also hope that mine as well. Because at the end we’re just spectators on the side. No one is right or wrong.

WORD OF HONOR // REVIEW

Feel like I need to do some of my own gifs of Word of Honor since I’ve already finished the drama. To my surprise this series was actually pretty good! Thank god my stupid ass decided to just go ahead and watch it because I hesitated to watched another bl adaptation but with censorship after the Guardian but this didn’t disappoint me at all and since it was from the same author so i was thinking why not? There were a few touchingly scenes here and there and I was really surprised how that passed censorship and it was also such a pretty good development progress from Guardian (i don’t watch other bls adaptations fyi).

The two main leads really brought the characters to life in my opinion. I have never read the novel before but I read that people commented that they were both fitting for their respective roles. I don’t think I could say anything wrong about this drama only that it had a lot of cgi throughout but I don’t think that’s a major problem seeing how shooting locations might be very limited nowadays and also budgeting issues but nevertheless you could see how much effort they put in for this drama to work perfectly.

So if you guys are into everything bl related but haven’t watch this drama, I highly recommend it to you as you will not regret watching it. You will immediately love the characters, Wen Ke Xing and Zhou Zi Shu the minute you see them 😊 and then you will also grow to like all the other characters as well.

Guys, I know this must be such a late ass post but I just finally finished watching SOTUS & SOTUS S and what the heck no wonder it’s one of the legendary bl drama out there because oh boy, I must mostly agree that it is good! SO GOOD Looking how it was filmed way back in 2016, the whole show is considered really good quality not only on the production but mostly all the actors acting skills because (I know I’m not the only one who thinks this) if you watch a lot of bl drama, tbh there are some really cringy acting out there. Of course I knew about the series just a few years back so I was contemplating whether or not to watch it since there are also a lot more to catch up on the ongoing ones so I told myself later or one day but after I finished I’m Tee, Me Too that I finally convinced myself to watch it after seeing Krist and Singto in it. Why did I even watch I’m Tee, Me Too if you don’t even know anything about sotus you might say.. well that is because I just only recently watched Dark Blue Kiss and I wanted to see more of TayNew so that’s why. So back to Sotus, this series started of me really hating Arthit because well he acted like a really hard ass bully and I myself wanted to knock him out myself only later to discovered if he isn’t the cutest little bean idk what else is 😅 Kongpob on the other hand, his character where he keeps throwing flirty comments to Arthit no matter how ‘mean’ he was got me feeling he really have so much guts in him! I mean, who wants to flirt with someone who literally screams at your face like whaa-?

Then as we see their characters progress towards the ending, they are just the cutest couple ever!! Their chemistry together is undeniable. Those cute ass stares at each other..those shy smiles Arthit shows when Kongpob stares or flirting at him turned him into the cutest human like I just wanna give him a huge hug! They’re hand holding and kisses! Not a single make out scene or shirtless scenes together like they just show such a healthy relationship where two people are just in love with each other genuinely. Also, like I mentioned in my earlier post, they know that they care for each other and want to be with each other forever is just such a breath of fresh air. I wouldn’t want to see anything more if it’s just to force into imagination because sometimes we just need something a little different and subtle.

If there are some issues on this series that wasn’t touched upon is their family. I know they didn’t show anything about them coming out or even telling their family that they know each other so I feel like that is something missing so a Season 3 perhaps? So, if you guys haven’t watch this series I would highly highly recommend! You won’t regret is seriously! All the supporting characters in this show are all equally good as well so you don’t need to worry about anything and just watch!

As I completed this series I really want to do some gifs so I hope you guys would look forward to it as I still have many on queue.

I TOLD SUNSET ABOUT YOU // REVIEW

So, where do I even start?

First off, I finally had the time to watched I Told Sunset About You. This series when it first came out and I saw the hyped about it, I thought to myself why are people making such a big deal about this series? Its just another thai BL. Thailand makes tons of bl stories in a year so what is it so special about this one so I hold it off and actually didn’t even wanna watch it at all. Then, I ran out of series to watch but ITSAY was always at the back of my head so I finally told myself okay let’s give it a try. Dang! First episode got me hooked right away. I was kinda blown away by the storyline. I liked the oldies cinematic vibe of it. It feels like I was watching more of a movie than a series.

Moving on the storyline, it was very interesting to me. Not that it was such a new thing for me but for a thai bl, it kinda was. Very different to what I was familiar with watching from the other thai bls (especially those on YouTube) and not that I’m trying to compare and pointing out flaws on one or another but I could tell that this production took a lot of preparation. In terms on the acting and setup you could really appreciate all the details they put into it. It wasn’t a typical storyline that started with university life and all of that we were familiar with but this is more from a younger age where we don’t get to watch very often.

This coming of age kinda genre is always interesting to watch if they know how to arrange the storyline. This was also my first time watching both Billkin and Krit’s acting so I was kinda moved by their flawed characters. How they both tried to dealt with their self discovery, how they would accept themselves and also one another and so on. I would always prepared to shed a tear in each episode as it was always an intense rollercoaster of emotions. I don’t wanna dive in to much explaining the storyline here because I feel like if you read about it beforehand, you won’t get to feel the emotional way of the story. My best advice is just watch it!!! and you’ll probably won’t regret it!! because I certainly didn’t.

Now that the second part, I Promised You The Moon is out I’m kinda excited to watch it too because Goy who is also one of the screenwriters for the series is also acting in it. also, that handsome actor from UWMA (the one who owns a restaurant or cafe? can’t remember) yeah him! Oh and also Oab (watched him as Joey on The Stranded) so the lineup is pretty interesting. But I gotta say when I watched the trailer I’m not liking what i saw. It looks more intense than the first part and I’m kinda not prepared for the ending because I got a feeling it will not end in a oh happy ending yay way you know? So I guess I just gotta go with the flow.

LOVE BY CHANCE 2 // REVIEW

That’s my babies!

I know I’m a day late already in posting this whole appreciation post about the LBC ACTL nation but I still would like to do it.

TinCan has developed so much. Sure this time around there were so many flaws in this series and holes and gaps and oh, I can go on but on the bright side there were a lot of sweet moments delivered from Mean and Plan. I wasn’t really sure how I will like the story from the first season but I guess I do now and it was great. I wanted so much more from a season 2 and sure I did get disappointed here and there but really didn’t want this LBC story to end but I guess everything has to come to an end anyway but all I wanted to say is this drama will always remain a special place in my heart with the all the other characters.

Another thing was this is going to be Mean’s decision to end his acting career in the bl world but I would still be watching him in other dramas nevertheless. Also, I was scrolling through Twitter before making this post right here and there was a lot of positive and negative comments that I don’t really understood much about it. I don’t even understand why there were even critics commenting about how they didn’t deliver a great love scene. Gimme a break. Give the actors a break alright.

And talk about an ending..is this supposed to be a joke or a huge cliffhanger? Tbh, I don’t even know what went through my head when I saw that text at the end. Honestly I have no idea about the novel but I deeply appreciate if anyone wants to enlighten me with stories about the characters from the novel because was this a part from it? I know there were a lot of tweets circulating but some said its fake news and so on about a season 3 and also didn’t Perth also stated that this will be his last bl drama as well? Oh well..

It’s been a wild ride everyone! We are just gonna keep riding it on and let all of it be a great memory. and thank u to this amazing blog @dollopheadsandclotpoles for mentioning me twice into the fandom nation ♥️

Now that I’m finished watching TharnType I get what was all the hype about this bl series. Any regrets after watching it? Wha- are you fu*ing kidding me heck NO! I have to say that this series is so much better than the rest I had watched. Some of you who is reading this may not agree with me but some of the other series have pretty cringy acting seriously though don’t come at me at this, but this was pretty good so far. Mew and Gulf was pretty cute. I know there are probably more couple ships that you might think that are better than them, really they’re just my own opinion. Honestly I am not someone who watches all the bl story out there so my knowledge is at the down low.

My mom pretty much saw that I was watching TharnType and she was like, what are you gonna watch next after this? And I’m like, I have no idea but I’ll be able to find something again (I guess) but right now my head’s just like I NEED the SEASON 2! I’m kinda glad I did watch this.

I still can’t get over this scene 😂

Since The King Eternal Monarch finally ended, it’s a good time to let out some of my thoughts from the final episode as I usually do when I actually finished watching the entire series.

So the ending was not what I expected (as always). They didn’t get married like what Lee Gon asked Tae-eul in the middle of the series to be his queen but instead they decided to just time travel back and forth forever until they grow old and just travel to the past again and so I’m guessing they’re gonna be immortal or slow down the process of growing old? a weird move but also they kinda have to because either one of them couldn’t just leave their country to go live in another so this is how they could just be and live together. Takes a lot of courage and fate to live a life like that..only if it is really possible that would be nice (I guess...).

And I was really REALLY saddened that Yeong and Eun-sop didn’t get to meet each other again because after that tearful moment of their farewell, I was really hoping that they get a moment again yknow?! They promised each other! whyyy did they do this?!!! 😭 Can ya’ll feel me on this?!! Ughhh

But on the bright side I’m happy that he and Nari actually got married in the new future and Yeong finally dates nari’s doppelganger in Kingdom of Corea (apologies for not remembering her name) but anyway yeah they both had a happy ending with being together. Also Sin-jae and hyun nam both had better future which was shocking but I was like okay they’re meant to be and Luna I hope she ends up with hyun min though :)

Oh and that yo-yo kid I think he’s some kind of a deity (I’m not sure if that’s a proper word to call it) but yeah I’m guessing because when the Manpasikjeok was whole again then they showed us he had been also time traveling throughout those time.. kinda reminds me of Lee El’s character in Goblin. They kinda just exists there but actually they played a significant role throughout the storyline.

Fantasy genre always had me fascinated by that time traveling thing and kinda brings back my memory of watching Guardian. Where the guy is just willing to travel through the universe to find and meet back his other half which is wow huge sacrifice I must say.

So that’s what I had to say about the series. Not much thoughts there but yeah just wanted to get it off my chest. Anyone is welcome to write your thoughts just please don’t start any arguments because everyone deserves their own opinions tq ;)
