#bra rant

I am in desperate need of guidance for someone with very large breasts and small waistband/underbust whatever the fuck comparatively. I'm talking 1X Waistband and 4–5X Cupsize if we're going with the common USAmerican basic sports bra sizing. I tried a wireless bra in 3 different sizes today and the 2X was loose in the waistband at even the tightest notch already and the cups were decidedly too small, the 3X waistband was even more loose and the cups were still too small, the 4X waistband was annoyingly loose in an "are they going to escape from the bottom of the bra without me even needing to move too much?" kind of way BUT the cup size KIND OF (almost??) seemed to maybe fit?!?

Can we please talk about clothes for a second?? I've been looking for t-shirt and sports bras, and straight cut jeans for the past hour and a half only to come home with the t-shirt bras.

Whilst I'm happy to have some new bras with the underwire not trying to kill me, I'm not happy with the fact that it was the only set in my size in something of a design that was the least girly there. Two of them were plain, one navy and one flesh, and other one was a navy background with a flower pattern on them.

Again, happy I have new bras, but do large bras have to be either plain, lacy or with flowers?? I mean, what's wrong with having something geeky or INTERESTING on bras? Batman, Optimus Prime, or even fucking Mona the vampire?? (points for knowing that). Would it really kill to have something like that on? Bras are expensive enough with them being PLAIN, I'd be happy to pay the price they are if they had something interesting on them.

Shout Out to Girls Who Need/Want Padded or Wired Bras

Because you shouldn’t be shamed for not wanting to wear bralettes or trying to ‘overly sexualize’ yourself just because they genuinely won’t support your breasts. Because you shouldn’t feel like you have to wear a certain bra for feminism or else you’re giving into the patriarchy. We can’t preach that we want women to take control of their sexuality when we tell them trying to do something that makes them feel attractive or is seriously the only thing that can contain their breasts is wrong because it’s “trying to please males”

I can’t be an actress cause I don’t know how to close my bra on my back and (almost) none of the bra-closing scenes I’ve seen has an actress close the bra on the front and clumsily twist it to the back cause apparently that’s not sexy enough

You know what fucks me off? Bras that fit big boobs but aren't made for them. I get a normal big boobed bra from a normal store and my bra only lasts a few months before the wire snaps. But a girl with smaller boobs in the same store can wear it forever basically. I have to go to a specific bra store and go in a specific plus sized bra section and pay almost a hundred dollars just for a bra that lasts me a bit longer. I should be able to get cheaper bras too, don't make a f cup bra with the same weak ass materials as the A cup...

Hope everyone has an awesome day!! Also PSA bra's hurt like hell. I decided to wear an actual bra to go out for V day and let me tell you my back and boobs are killing me! Glad I switched to whatever the hell you would call what I wear now lol.
