Norsery Rhymes from A to Z Bradingi, The Burning One Well here we are on another Thors-day and with another 20 min sketch of a Norse (and Germanic, sometimes Celtic) mythological characters. This week it’s Bradingi (Bradgengi) of the Jotnar (Jotun/Jotunn/Jetten/Giant). The Burning one. Like many other giants he can be seen as an elemental spirit. He is considered a personification of fire. Listed among the Jotnar. His name is also thought to possibly be a younger version of the name Bradgengi meaning the follower or companion. Which could indicate him as a fire that follows.
