Those are seed beads, the needles are size 0000, they are pointy AF, and I did string all of those beads onto that #8 cotton thread.
I found this almost completed project in a bag that was nestled in a bin of yarn (aka âmy stashâ) in the garage.
I looked into my Projects page in Ravelry, and there it was.
I started this thing in 2005. There was a âstill working on itâ note entered in September 2018, and that was it.
I donât know how it ended up in a bag inside a bag and in the bin, but sometimes thatâs what happens to WIPs (Works In Progress) and UFOs (Unfinished Objects).
Between 2005 - 2018 - yesterday, Iâve started and finished many pieces and projects.
As of yesterday, this piece is done. Well, all I have to do is find the snaps I bought for it (back in 2005) and then sew them on.
Why, you may ask, werenât the snaps in the bag?
Good question. Because I put them somewhere safe. I thought.
Why would I make something like this?
Because I saw a picture of it and wanted it. No. Not just wanted. I needed it in my life.
Photo of finished piece is coming shortly.
