About 10 years ago I adopt my #brandcolours to burgundy red and cement grey in a #logo inspired by my name C&D and also inspired from the Roman Atrium (the first space you enter in a Roman House the first room). [ ] At that time the colours where correct. They where to emphasis stability in front of my clients ... and grey where also a bold fashion statement on that period. [ ] The idea was to implement a sign/logo so simple and easy to recognise: If the client see [ ] they will know it's me. And in time they did. There is no need for name next to thebsign. No need for colours. Just the sign [ ]. Also where the period wen flat logos started to appear (from Apple, Starbuck... you name it they all adopt the flat logos) [ ] But now it's time to go fresh. To chose a more appropriate colours to the current time we live in, something to emphasis the harmony, peace, trust, fresh, bio. [ ] Last year I've implemented green in my drawings. The color was so deep implemented that certain people even caled me on phone bacause they doubted that my signature on some official papers was mine because they saw a different colour than Montblanc Irish Green. After one year the colour stuck and prove that Irish Green was my lucky color and that everybody identify me now with the sign and the colour. [ ] So tonight we change. Keep the original sign but change the color. [ ] It is never easy to change a logo. You have the old guard who sees it as heresy to move away from the image that helps get you to the current place where your business exists today. They want to hold onto a vision that you have invested in for years, and that has built equity. (Let's face it it's the same logo just a different colour: grass green & beige background ... I even doubt some people will notice it). 🤞🍀 https://www.instagram.com/p/Bn40QxEHoGK/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1ldtlkdoait2
