plop! the soft cushion of the loaf of bread bounces off her head & lands on the ground with a pitiful, muffled thud. it has the consistency of a goddamn pillow. "where did you get this?" ramona points at the loaf on the ground, ignoring that cicero threw the damn thing at her head. she plucks it from the ground & holds it to her chest to examine it. it still looked good. "i'm so hungry," ramona whines. "can we eat this? maybe we can find some butter."
