Is it really just that simple? What difference can cutting away one small thing make to our lives? One small change like taking the stairs makes a difference to our fitness. Cutting out one unhealthy food or alcohol makes a difference to our health. Getting up 15 minutes earlier can make a difference to being organised. Saying "I can!" instead of "I can't" makes a real difference to our attitude, our self-confidence, our self-esteem and our life. #makeonechange #breakahabit #takecontrol #youaresoworthit #thanksforsharingsaorsacoaching https://www.instagram.com/p/BtHZ8GiFxtI/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=v68m4zeaepox

How to Create a Good Habit
Habits don’t always have to be bad. Some habits that we make such as working out every day or reading our bibles daily can help us grow physically and/or mentally. There’s ways to make something you do turn into a habit such as eating healthy or going to bed early. Here’s how!
Scientifically, habits are formed within 21 days. That means if you repeat something consistently for exactly 3 weeks, your mind will form the action into a habit. That being said, you can also break a habit in 21 days such as biting your nails or eating certain junk food every day after school! Here’s a step-by-step list of how you can achieve this:
Make a list of which habits you want to make or which habits you want to break.
Motivate yourself! Write down the reasons for why you’re making that habit. If your habit is to go to sleep earlier every night, write down why you want to do so! This will remind you to stick to it.
Make a countdown. If you can make it to 21 days, then you’re on the right track! After 3 weeks, you shouldn’t even have to think about it. It should just come naturally!
Come up with a reward to give yourself after 21 days. You made it! (You can even go off the picture to the right to make your own list!)
Think of something you want to turn into a good habit and do it. With a little motivation, it’s easier than you think!

Day #21
They say it takes 21 days to break a habit. Why are you still on my mind? Our memories are locked in head and so is your voice, telling me you will love me forever. 21 days isn't enough time to forget. The hurt just feels a little less raw but still very real.
How to break a habit
The most effective strategy for breaking a bad habit is vigilant monitoring - focusing your attention on the unwanted behavior to make sure you don't engage in it.
Focus on stopping the behavior before it starts.
