I made a comic of one of my favorite Coldmackerels fics ( go read it first if you haven't already )
https://archiveofourown.org/works/24327613/chapters/58654855
The lineart changed a bit because it was done over several days in "free time"..so the consistency kind of went out the window.
S4 and the end of KE feels like a loss to me, and the fandom has helped me a lot with all the amazing fanfics and art!
I wrote a bunch of other stuff, but it just seemed silly.
Noctis stood on the balcony of his bedroom in the early morning. He loved watching the orange glow of the sun creep over the horizon and cover his kingdom in the warmth and light he had only three months prior fought so hard to return to the world. “You’ve changed.” Noctis turned around to see Ignis in the open doorway, wrapped in black silk robe with his light chestnut hair falling over his eyes. Noctis smiled. “How so?” Ignis came to join Noctis leaning against the balcony ledge.
Hey @moonraccoon-exe, this is the fic Breakfast Girl was talking about. Basically we outlined every major event that needs to happen, now were taking turns writing portions. This ask is her first portion, now I’ll answer with my continuation. ————Ignis came to join Noctis leaning against the balcony ledge. “It wasn’t so long ago that it took an act of the Astrals to rouse you before noon. Now you’re up with the sun.”
“I guess you’re right. Maybe I’m more mature than I was back then.”
Ignis laughed. “I should hope so, your Majesty. You are King of Eos now.”
“I may be King, but you know you don’t have to call me Your Majesty when we’re alone.”
“Perhaps I enjoy saying it. It’s not just a title, it’s a testament.”—————-Oh boy. It’s starting out so fluffy… what could possibly go wrong?
BG and I have been debating sense the beginning of the outlining process for Endings in Reverse. In either Chapter 5 or 6 there’s going to be a hotel scene. We can’t decide weather or not there should be an actual sex scene or if we should “fade to black” on it. We both keep changing our minds, and are never of the same opinion at the same time. Any thoughts on the matter?
In honor of the two year anniversary of me finally finishing Breakfast, I'm bringing it back!! Also, letting everyone know that I have been working on the sequel, Lunch! 🥰 the second installment of the series will cover Natasha & Kaidan settling into life on the Normandy as a couple and addressing the issues brought up by Horizon (both visits). No eta on that though as I'm still focused on my Rookanis fic and Taking on the Universe Part 3.
Anyway, here's my favorite fic I've written so far! Completed two years ago today for my bestie's birthday 💜
Whew, spent most of the day working on my next chapter for Breakfast!! It's so close to being done and I'm so excited for it!! Nat & Kay are my favorite couple to write 🥰🥺🔥
Summary: Shepard deals with the immediate aftermath of Udina's coup attempt.
A/N: This has taken way too long to finish. Got hit with some more writer's block. Hopefully the next chapter won't take so long 👀

Bailey cleared his throat loudly, drawing everyone's attention to him. He motioned for Shepard to follow him as he led her away from the others, stopping once he felt they were out of earshot. He placed his hand gently on her shoulder as he began speaking.
“We got Thane to Huerta Memorial. The docs took him straight to surgery, but apparently there’s been, uh, complications.” She tried to hide the surge of panic that rushed through her as her heart began thundering in her chest. She had hated leaving him behind. What if those had been her last moments with him?
“I notified Kolyat. He should be there by now. I have a skycar and an officer ready to escort you since we haven’t had a chance to clear the route yet. I’d go now if I were you. They made it sound pretty, uh, serious.” He spoke softly, which was another thing he wasn’t known for. Her eyes darted toward Kaidan briefly. Their eyes met, and even from this distance she knew he could tell that something was wrong. His expression reflected his concern as her eyes shifted back toward Bailey.
Kaidan glanced toward Garrus and James, still standing a few feet away from him. They faced the burning skycar on the edge of the shuttle pad, their backs to Shepard. Their conversation seemed lighthearted, despite the events of the day. A stark contrast to what was happening a short distance from them.
“Thanks, Bailey. I appreciate the escort. If they could, just give me a few minutes?” she asked lightly as her eyes wandered toward Kaidan again. Bailey followed her gaze and clapped her on the back.
“Not a problem, Shepard. They’ll be arriving shortly,” he replied with a grim smile, letting his hand fall to his side as Shepard walked past him. She approached her squad and tried to ignore their uneasy expressions as they turned their attention to her and noticed the change in her demeanor. Shepard waited as the sound of Bailey’s footsteps retreated, leaving the shuttle pad as suddenly as he had arrived.
“I spoke to Hackett earlier,” Kaidan admitted softly, watching as Shepard's expression became guarded. He knew their history, knew that there would always be a little pain lingering between them. But he couldn’t let that stop him in this moment.
“Oh?” she asked, managing to relax her expression and hide her rising heart rate as she met his gaze.
“He offered me a position. Haven’t been able to find my students yet, so he wants to assign me a whole new squad. We’d be on a ship that’s arriving here at the Citadel tomorrow night,” he explained as Shepard looked away from him. She sat up and let the covers fall, her pale skin almost glowing in the dim light that filtered through his window. He reached toward her, gently running his fingers down her arm and watching the blue of their biotics trail behind his touch.
“Sounds like a great opportunity, Kay. You deserve that,” she responded, trying to hide her disappointment at the thought of being separated from him again. His hand came to rest beneath her chin as he led her to look at him again.
“I turned it down, Nat,” he replied as he looked into her eyes. A small smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he saw the confusion in her face.
“Kaidan, why the hell would you do that? It’s such a good opportunity for you! You loved your Spec Ops squad,” she admonished as she swatted his hand away from her face. He chuckled in response to her reaction.
“I love you more, Nat. I want to come back to the Normandy. If you’ll have me,” he answered. Her expression softened at his words. She reached toward his face and cradled his cheeks in her hands, unable to contain her joy.
“Welcome aboard, Major.”
