These homemade breakfast boats are a delicious and filling way to start your day. They're loaded with crispy bacon, gooey cheese, and perfectly baked eggs, all nestled in mini baguettes. A delightful morning treat!
Ingredients: 4 large eggs. 4 mini baguettes or hoagie rolls. 4 slices of bacon. 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Salt and pepper, to taste. Cooking spray or butter for greasing.
Instructions: Turn on your oven and heat it up to 375F 190C. Leave a 1/2-inch border around the edges of the mini baguettes or hoagie rolls after cutting off the tops. Save the bread that was taken out for later use. After making holes in the bread boats, put them on a baking sheet that has been lined with foil or parchment paper. The bacon should be cooked in a pan until it gets crispy. Take the bacon out of the pan and spread it out on paper towels to drain. Break it up into little pieces after it has cooled. Sprinkle some of the cheddar cheese shreds in the bottom of each bread boat. On top of the cheese, crack an egg into each bread boat. Add pepper and salt. On top of the eggs in each boat, sprinkle the bacon bits. Put the bread boats' lids back on. Put the eggs in an oven that has already been heated for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the whites are set and the yolks are cooked to your liking. You can toast the bread pieces you took out while the boats are baking to use as dippers for the extra egg and bacon mixture. When the breakfast boats are done, take them out of the oven and let them cool down a bit before you serve them. Have fun with your breakfast boats of bacon, eggs, and cheese.
