Indulge in a guilt-free pizza night with this gluten-free cauliflower pizza crust recipe. It's a low-carb alternative that's both delicious and nutritious.
Ingredients: 1 medium cauliflower head. 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/4 cup almond flour. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1 egg. Your favorite pizza toppings e.g., tomato sauce, cheese, veggies, and meats.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 425F 220C. Cut the cauliflower into florets and pulse in a food processor until it resembles rice-like grains. Transfer the cauliflower 'rice' to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 4-5 minutes until softened. Allow the cauliflower to cool slightly, then place it in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out excess moisture. In a mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, almond flour, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and the egg. Mix well to form a dough. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and press the cauliflower dough onto it to form a pizza crust, making it as thin or thick as you like. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and firm. Remove the crust from the oven and add your desired pizza toppings. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the toppings are cooked and the cheese is melted and bubbly. Slice, serve, and enjoy your delicious gluten-free cauliflower pizza!
