The Rookies!

"Between the Upgrade and Quatros missions, Breez, Furno and Surge were dispatched to patrol the K9-10 sector, where they discover the remains of an old Hero Factory from the earliest days of the company before the invention of faster than light travel. After barely protecting the miners of the K9-10 colony they find out that the facility is still functional and it's able to upgrade them! Equipped with their old armor and upgraded versions of their old weapons they face the Space Pirates once again!"

These are my last Hero February builds unfortunately, I'm going back to school this week. Having watched Transformers One recently I'm feeling very inspired to make some more bots so expect a few in the future.

- Breez, Recon Whirlwind -

Built on my "standardized" hero frame that still allows for personalization, this was the first draft. She was built. Oh jeeze. A hot minute ago lets put it that way (whadda ya mean G2 started 10 years ago? Get off my lawn).

Similar to my Evo revamp, I really leaned into the [color] + silver + glow/accent, formula that I really enjoyed from the HF aesthetic. The only exception being the laser on her drone/shield combo that, in the *very* limited lore, is Surge's core that he gave up so that she might live. (IRL I needed the blue pieces for another project lol)

While I really enjoy parts of her design and general vibe, I think a fresh coat of paint from my new skills and pieces wouldn't hurt.

Breez taking a nap

Do Whatever You Want With Breez Challenge, they asked Breez taking a nap and so I drew her taking a nap in a containment area of the Hero Factory with the last cocoon and fangz.

In my Hero Factory fan fiction which I'm still finishing to write, a pack of Fangz gets tamed by Rocka who then uses them as the first K9 unit for the Hero Factory. While the cocoon from Invasion From Below is a theory of mine that Breez, feeling guilty and sorry that the entire hive died because of them, secretly snuck the last cocoon onboard of the hero craft and takes care of it. Enjoy!
