Daily Rudolf #6 is... New Student. Feat. Brego Roheryn

Originally this started out as me just wanting to draw Aragorn's horse as an uma and not my daily post. Then I thought 'wait I should put Oguri in here'. Then i thought 'well, I did want to do another Fuku drawing, but she wouldn't really work'. Then I thought 'Rudolf could be telling her to go to class. And then this becomes a daily Rudolf drawing. perfect'

Anyway Brego Roheryn is a larper who aspires to be an actor rather than just a race horse. she loves her race outfit/larp costume.

Ah, I love the idea of various braid styles signifying different ranks, etc. Thinking of Theodred and Brego... Do you think Theodred braided Brego's mane? Thanks for your response!

I imagine he would! I love Théodred, so anything that I consider to be both a good horse care practice and an important Rohirrim cultural practice is something that I believe Théodred would be totally on top of!

(I am personally less certain that Théodred would name his horse Brego, as that is out of keeping with the Rohirrim horse naming practices we see in the book, though it’s certainly true that Horse Brego is canon to the movie-verse!) (And what a good horse he is!)
