IN DEFENSE OF COUSIN LOUIE

Hey. He’s not so bad! In fact, here are 10 Reasons to love him! Besides throwing away the Stevia-- (ugh! not while Louie’s here!)

1. He’s Family! Louis appreciates the deep bonds of family ties. Look at Louie nodding appreciatively at the obvious mother/son bond between Lucille and Daniel. Hey, maybe he’s not close to his own mama! Have some sympathy!

2. He helps out! BBQ CUZ TIME!! Louie seasons, Daniel cooks! Classic BBQ partner technique. Louie didn’t have a brother to BBQ with growing up, so he particularly enjoys cooking with his cousin Daniel.

3. He’s polite! Hey. Easy with your precious chairs Mandy-- Louie is being polite by taking initiative to open his own bottle of Stella, rather than interrupt the conversation and ask for a bottle opener! What a good cousin!

4. He LOVES HIS CUZ! See right here, Louie looking admiringly over at his favorite cousin Daniel. Louie left New Jersey to pursue California dreams of fast cars and hot babes in California all while helping his cousin out by selling cars and working as a sort of consigliere to Don Daniel. Ya know, like Tom Hagen from The Godfather!

5. He takes initiative! Look how legit excited Louie is to tell Daniel all about the “LaRusso Luxury Motorcycles” idea. Hey, he’s been excited about this for weeks! Don’t be a Debbie Downer, Amanda. And Daniel, you told him to take initiative!!

6. He’s a good Uncle. Once again Louie being a good Uncle by telling Anthony off for telling Samantha to “shut up.” Plus do you see him getting up to indulge Anthony’s request for another Yoo-hoo? No way, Tony! Uncle Louie is strong on his Uncle game.

7. Oh yeah. Again. Fuck that Stevia. Get out of here with that fake shit!!

8. Work ethic. He was right about the paint thing! Daniel is a perfectionist, he should have understood. But Louie understands that Daniel was under a lot of stress about that whole d*ck thing. So you’ll notice his effort to be cheerful during the call. Anyway. You want a billboard painted correctly, you know who to call. That’s right. Louie LaRusso Jr.

9. He’s VERY LOYAL. Nobody messes with Louie’s family!!

Okok so I see where some of you Johnny fans might get a little angry here....understandable, understandable. But to be fair, he just wanted to send a message, not set the whole block on fire!

10. So you like your precious Daniel & Robby mentor bond, huh? SAY THANK YOU LOUIE! See Louie could see his cuz was lonely and needed a young grasshopper to teach karate to. So Louie TOOK INITIATIVE, once again, and you know, Louie LaRusso Jr. knows, if nothing else, how to play the long game. He knew what time of night Daniel would be doing his little karate moves! And who did he send through the door?? The perfect karate student, of course.
