3. Most common argument?

I mean, they’re David and Patrick, so they bicker about so many things over and over. I think the thing they would argue about the most are their plans.

“We aren’t going to watch Notting Hill for the 3rd time this week” - “But it’s Julia!” 

"Your romantic date for us is biking? That sounds more like a form of exercise torture.” - “Biking is fun!”

Most of the arguments aren’t serious, of course, as we know they love to tease each other. 

6. What is their favorite feature of their partner’s?

David’s favorite feature of Patrick’s is his smile. He loves making Patrick smile, and he loves it when Patrick uses his soft upside-down smile at David. It makes him feel so warm and loved. 

Patrick’s favorite feature of David are his hands. He’s always loved watching how expressive David is with his hands. He loves the four rings on David’s fingers that he always switches around because it gives an insight into David and his mood (hence why he had to get a copy of them in gold when he proposed). 

9. Who worries the most?

David worries the most, he is a Chronic Worrier over everything because anxiety. Patrick worries, too, especially about David and the store, but David is the one who usually works himself into a spiral. David’s past plays a lot into his worries and fears and insecurities, too. But Patrick has gotten really good at comforting David when he worries excessively, so much so that David starts to relax a bit with Patrick’s presence alone.

Actually idk if you’ve seen Schitt’s creek but I kind of want that similar relationship of Patrick and David where Patrick kind of teases David but in a lighthearted way. E.g. Patrick humouring David cause David needs ‘a steady hand’ for his eye cream.

I have seen Schitt’s Creek and honestly Patrick and David are one of my absolute favourite couples in terms of their dynamic and I can 100% see Buck and Tommy having a similar vibe, it would be a dream for me honestly

18. Who leaves little notes in the other’s one lunch? (Bonus: what does it usually say?)

Patrick is the one who first starts leaving little notes for David on the days that they aren’t able to eat together. The notes are usually really cheesy and sweet like, I love you x or Have a great day x and he always leaves little x’ or hearts on his notes. 

Of course, it’s Patrick, so he uses the notes to tease David, too, like, Nothing’s better than coming home to you and the house that you swept while I was gone. x and Thank you for taking out the garbage ♡ (when David definitely hasn’t done them yet). 

Also, Patrick starts leaving the notes after a while of dating, and once they get married, he starts signing them as your husband.

(Patrick doesn’t know it, but David secretly saves all of the notes in a little box under their bed)

“Oh really? Well that’s good, because guess what, husband? You’re gonna wake up next to me for the rest of your life.”

Patrick chuckled and cupped his partner’s cheek before kissing him. He couldn’t believe they were married; it still felt unreal. David snuggled against him, and Patrick kissed his forehead.

“So, what are we doing today, husband?” Patrick smiled tenderly, looking down at David.
