Violent Femmes (1986)

Una de Violent Fenmes, a los que casi no he puesto todo este tiempo gustándome bastante. Una de las mejores de su LP debut homónimo publicado por el Slash en 1983, la bien conocida "Gone Daddy Gone", con un trabajo espléndido instrumental del grupo y en concreto del bajista Brian Ritchie tocando el xilofón. La letra usa un verso completo de la canción de Willie Dixon de 1954 "I Just Want to Make Love to You", grabada originalmente por Muddy Waters. En 2006 la versionaron Gnarls Barkley.
