I realised I’ve never drawn BriBorg properly — if not a watercolour chibi two years ago — and inspiration striked in 💖 . This is actually inspired by the song “human after all” by Daft Punk since I imagined BriBorg releasing his robotic mask and revealing his human form — if he was an actual fictional character, I imagine him as a sentient android robot with emotions. . Drawing steel and metallic parts wasn’t easy for me so pls be gentle 🙏🏻 🌈 .

"I don't want to, I don't need to, But I must fight again! (Let me out! Set me free!)" 🤖

Here's the new illustration I made specifically for the new "Another World" artbook! (Check sarah_rugg on instagram!) I'm so excited for this project and along other 4 Bri Artworks I wanted to draw something brand new! I listened to the album and it SMASHED me, I've been really blown away 😳😳😳 My favourite songs are Cyborg and Wilderness, but the first one inspired me more for a drawing, so I went and looked up for a backstory of it. 🎶

"'Cyborg' was a song I wrote for a video game called 'Rise Of The Robots', which was a sort of robot combat fighting game. [...] The song was written from the point of view of the beaten-up robot. You never think what the poor smashed up robot might be going through!" - Brian May 🤖

With all of these infos and the wonderful "BriBorg" costume from the Rhapsody Tour, I've drawn a desperate BriBorg fighting to come out of the videogame, while the player is about to erase the game files, like the ominous voice threatens the cyborg at the end of the song. 👀👀👀 This has been a great challenge but also very fun to make, it gave me the opportunity to try new effects and options I've never used before 🙏🏻💕💜💖💕💜💖 I hope you'll like it!
