Thinkin about brick snake...

I would like to start this post by making one thing clear. Giorno is my child and I will always protect him, from haters and creepy shippers alike.

However, there is one thing he pulled off that I just can’t get over.

No, it’s not GE’s initial power of damage reflection that promptly disappeared (we can only blame Araki for that).

It’s not the conveniently appearing healing skills.

Not his endless trivia knowledge.

Not the Brick Snake (who was a Good girl and died a hero T^T)

Not even Gold Experience Requiem.

It’s this. Little. Scene.

In an attempt to help Bruno in his fight against Diavolo in Venice, Giorno turns one of his brooches into a copy of Coco (let’s call him Coco II for clarity), so Diavolo ended up being pulled into its Stand-generated room for a bit and Bruno got a few moments to try and escape. So far so good, Giorno had turned things into small animals before.

But this was not just any small animal. Coco II is a complete copy of the original Coco (who is at that time happily alive and enjoying the sunshine outside a few hundred metres away), down to having the exact same Stand. A Stand manifests as a result of one’s soul and experiences being strong enough to become a separate entity.

This tiny scene that never gets mentioned again implies that Gold Experience can’t just perfectly make tissue, organs or bodies.

Gold Experience can recreate a soul.
