Long Unannounced Hiatus?

So, it's been a while. Life has been super crazy for me lately, and I haven't had as much time for creative projects as I would prefer. I love this blog and the story of Bridehall and I want to continue it, but I've realized something in the process: I prefer short chapters. I was spending a crazy amount of time on a large chapter 1 because that was what I felt audiences would like more, but to be so honest, short chapters are best for my bursts of creative energy.

That being said, chapter 1.5 will be released sometime within the next two days! Yay! I already have chapter 2 and 2.5 queued up for the next month and a half as well.

1.1K Follower Special! (Finally fixed link 😭)

First off, I'd like to thank you all for the love and support I've received for this project. It started off as just a little side blog to show off one of my writing pieces, and I could have never imagined how many people would connect with it. 💖

Now, on to the main event! I've written four short stories that follow the Margrave family through the decades, beginning in the 1770s, and ending in the 1880s with some familiar faces. I'll also be posting a family tree sometime soon so you guys can get a better idea of how all the characters are related.

Content warnings: Mentions of pet euthanization, abortion/miscarriage. (Please let me know if you find anything else you would like me to flag!)

Asks?

I haven't been getting as many asks as usual, and I just wanted to remind everyone that they are very much open and I'm ready to answer any questions you guys have about the story/characters :) Also I'm still new to this whole IF thing so a question for all of you-- Would you say it's normal for writers to post non-story canon stuff about their characters without getting asked? Just curious!

Progress Report

I’ve gotten a bit done in chap. 1 so far, and I now have a tentative release date: mid/late May. Yay!

I was also wondering, since I’ve seen some other IF authors do little side story snippets and stuff, if you guys would like for me to do something like that? Since this blog is almost at 1000 followers (what???) I think it’d be fun to release something to celebrate :)

If you guys have any prompt ideas, feel free to send them in!
