MY MARBLE HORNETS HCS (featuring no trauma!)

•Alex and Tim are trans men. One has top surgery while the other does not

•Alex had/ still has bad acne

•Brian goes for morning runs, keeping himself active is good for his mental health and keeps him motivated

•Jay has social anxiety and autism

•Tim actually likes to read a lot, being on his phone does almost nothing for him unless its to text his friends

•Their friendgroup is affectionate towards eachother because they’re just that comfortable. Brian is the one who initiates the most and he’s 100% a playful tease saying that they’re ‘falling in love’ with him. They are. This only makes them love him more

•Tim is someone who likes soft lighting, so string lights or lamps in a dark room over big bright lights anyday

•Jay has a caffeine problem, he tried coffee one day and it just stuck. Same goes for Alex with monster

•ALEX WAS A SCENE KID AT SOME POINT‼️

•They all do prank wars on one another, it CAN get annoying but its still fun and only lasts a day

•Playing with Tims hair is like his sleep switch, he’s passed tf out once someones fingers are scratching his scalp

•Brians favourite flavour of icecream is something like green apple, he’s always bummed that a lot of places don’t have it

•Jay has a specific routine he has to follow every night and morning, disrupting said routine can be upsetting for him (its the autism).

•THEY GO TO PRIDE PARADES WHEN THEY CAN

•They’ve all had that classic idea of “lets all live together someday” knowing damn well being in the same house together for even a week, would be hell. Dorms are just fine.

•Sleepovers consist of some of the best memories!

•Alex and Amy only lasted a total of 2 months

•Tim occasionally goes on hikes

•They took a beach trip once and buried Brian in the sand like a mermaid

•Jay for some reason is always cold whilst Tim is warm

•They borrow eachothers clothes whether its for comfort or warmth or even if they just wanna wear it

•Bran helps give Alex his T shots whilst Jay helps Tim and tbh they do switch depending on who’s with them at the time

•They have a conjoined playlist so that way they cant really fight over who has the aux in the car, they only listen to the joined one as a group

•Alex is much more affectionate when he’s sleepy and his words become loose since he’s so tired. He’ll compliment someone whilst half asleep and deny it the next day

•Jay doesn’t like sweet things often, they make him feel sick, but salty things he enjoys

•They’ve all shared a bed at least once, it was not comfortable in the slightest given they were spread out on ONE bed. They’d passed out watching something at a sleepover

•Tim is prone to nosebleeds

•Brian has this scent of like..a warm summer day and no one knows what the actual scent is

•Jay keeps a hanging polaroid line on his wall, they’re all dated and everything

Hi! I hope you're all doing well. I wanted to request some Brilex content— about how they first met.

I was thinking it could be set during their college years, before The Operator and Marble Hornets . Feel free to write it from any perspective—you have such great ideas, and I’d love to see your take on this scenario! :)

First Take.

Pairing— Brian Thomas x Alex Kralie (Marble Hornets.)

Alex speaks like a thunderstorm thinks—loud, electric, and unapologetic.

He doesn’t argue so much as perform it.

Hands painting the air like he’s storyboarding rage, voice rising and falling in waves that crash through the classroom and soak every bystander in saltwater conviction.

The room’s a low-buzzing hive of half-awake students, but Alex is incandescent. Animated in a way that makes you want to watch, even if you hate the movie he’s tearing apart.

Brian’s just passing by. A coffee in one hand, his backpack slung crooked across his shoulder, trailing exhaustion from back-to-back labs. He’s been up since sunrise drawing blood and giving quiet reassurances in sterile rooms. He is, as always, humming with sugar and caffeine and kindness.

He’s not expecting to be the next prop in a film major’s passionate breakdown of narrative structure.

“Excuse me,” Alex calls, sharp and sudden, snapping the invisible clapperboard on their first scene together. “You there, in the—what is that, a serotonin-colored hoodie? Come here.”

Brian blinks. “Me?”

“Yeah, you. Quick. Important question.”

Alex’s smile is wicked and wide. The kind that dares you to walk into traffic just to prove a point.

Brian, of course, walks straight in.

“How can I say no to that face?”

Someone groans from the row behind them. Alex spins back toward his opponent—some poor kid who dared suggest Inception was “objectively good cinema”—and gestures grandly toward Brian like a magician unveiling a trick.

“Neutral party,” Alex says. “Tell me. Did La La Land deserve the Oscar, or was that just Ryan Gosling’s jawline talking?”

Brian sips his coffee, considering it with the weight of someone used to diagnosing things more serious than film snobbery.

Then he shrugs.

“I thought it was sweet,” he says. “Kinda like cotton candy. Not much substance, but… y’know. Pretty.”

Alex stares at him like he’s just proposed marriage and murder in the same sentence.

“That is insanely wrong,” he announces. “And weirdly charming.”

Brian grins. “Thanks. I think.”

The class ends, eventually. The debate doesn’t.

They walk together, arguing and laughing down sun-drenched sidewalks. Brian gesticulates too much when he talks; Alex makes fun of him for it, but he starts doing it too, just to mirror him.

They don’t even notice they’ve reached the coffee shop until Brian’s opening the door.

Alex will later tell people that Brian tricked him into a date.

Brian will argue that Alex dragged him into a date by force.

The truth, as always, is somewhere in the middle.

And it starts here:

In the glow of overhead fluorescents and half-drunk opinions,

with coffee cooling on tabletops

and a boy who burns too brightly falling in step beside one who was built to weather the heat.

One scene fades into the next.

And neither of them thinks to call cut.
