Red Riding Hood and The Big Bad Wolf
Prologue
💬A/n: This prologue into my fantasy Au fanfic series for the game of Broken Color. Because it only one of my B.C. OC and reader, which nicknamed Red , it is skippable. However, the OC, Agaptio, will be mention through the series when needed, he is part of the reader's past. So Enjoy! Part 1 will be up shortly. Masterlist
🦝Summary: Your uncle is scolding you for beating up noble's kids. However, he doesn't know the full story. why did you beat those spoiled kids?
☢️disclaimer: This is base on a 18+ game, Br<3ken Colors, which created by two amazing people, BlasticHeart and Holyschnitzel. It is a game inspired by boyfriend to death as well the creators Do Not Want Minor Interact
“You little brat! I told you not to get in trouble when I’m working!” Agaptio slammed his palm on the table, the wood rattling under the force. His tired azure eyes burned with anger as they fixed on the eleven-year-old sitting across from him. “Now I’ve got nobles breathing down my neck because you decided to beat up their kids!”
You flinched at his tone, your small hands tightening in your lap. The sight of you trembling made him stop cold. Agaptio inhaled sharply, then exhaled through his nose, dragging a hand down his face.
Fuck. I’m the worst guardian ever.
The words echoed in his head, bitter as ash. He hated how quickly his clan’s old ways— harsh, authoritarian, merciless— came back to him when he lost his temper. Straightening, he forced himself to sit tall but relaxed, unclenching his fists. His deep voice came softer this time, careful, measured.
“Red,” he said, putting both hands flat on the table. “I’m sorry for yelling. We just moved here… it’s been a lot. So, why did you—?”
“Because they called me a worthless mage!” you burst out, tears spilling down your cheeks. Your voice cracked with every word. “I know I’m weak! I can’t cast strong spells like the other kids my age! Maybe Father was right…maybe no one will ever love a useless mage like me—”
“I love you.”
The words stopped you in your tracks. Agaptio had already risen from his chair, his voice steady as stone. He moved to your side, leaning against the table with a tired but proud smile. His large hand landed gently on your head, ruffling your hair.
“Doesn’t that matter?” he asked quietly.
You pouted, staring up at him through wet lashes. “…No.”
Agaptio gasped dramatically, pressing a hand to his chest as though struck. “My heart!” he groaned, staggering back a step.
A small giggle escaped you despite your tears.
“Sorry, Uncle Go,” you said, fiddling with the hem of your red cloak. “But I meant… romantically. Even though I haven’t met them yet, I want someone to be in my arms, someone I can protect. Someone who loves me like that in return.”
Agaptio squinted at you, his lips twitching. “Pfft. I didn’t know I was raising a hopeless romantic.”
You flushed and threw a playful punch at him, but he caught your fist with ease, sticking his tongue out.
“Too slow!”
