Just finished Fifth Season and I'm so down for part two.
Why not end a fucking book with the promise of creating a moon. I'm screaming in anticipation.
Also a fantasy world build on the ruins of a civilisation like our now is something I just recently discovered but I'm absolutely ready to read five other takes on it. TLT was genious. The Broken Empire a bit less but I'm in bloody love with the world-building. give me more of it!!! Give me magic created by atom bombs, people wondering what a parking lot is. Give me strange towers of steel and let me yet again look at our world with awe and terror. Because we built this as a society and we can as easily destroyit again.
I have maimed and I have murdered; and if this mountain stood but a little higher, I would cut the angels from their heaven.

Broken Empire Headcanon
So a few weeks ago I had a very vivid dream about a fourth book in the Broken Empire Series: Broken Empire spoilers below
So it was about a literal book, like I had bought it and read it. I was looking at this thing on my desk. And it was fucking massive, like the size of a Stormlight Archive book.
It was all about Jorg and his brother in the afterlife hellscape inhabited by other souls as well as the darker creatures mentioned to inhabit this realm(in addition to some new ones that weren't mentioned in the original series). The plot started with Jorg and his brother simply trying to survive but they quickly realize it's not that simple and find that humans are the lowest ranking things in the afterlife, and the beasts beyond the mountains are essentially the top of the food-chain(think biblically accurate angels on heroin).
They start creating their own faction and getting deeper and deeper into eldritch afterlife politics. At the same time Jorg sees this as his chance to get to know his brother. But William is not anything like he imagined. And while Jorg sees his death as a fresh start William only gets worse and the demons he's dealt with since his death quickly reject attempts to create a real relationship.
Needless to say it was bloody and dark, and beautiful.
I remember reading this damn book, I remember it being amazing and the best in the series . . . and it doesn't exist. It's weird because I've had dreams that involve movies, shows and books that I consume, but never a dream about a new entry for that media.
I woke up fucking pissed I couldn't read this thing. Anyway needed to get that off my chest, and this blog seemed like the best place for it.
jorg ancrath as memes i have saved in my phone pt 5
Next in "my comfort characters are the worst people I love them so much", I name Jorg Ancrath. I hope I got the scar on the right side of his face but, after flipping the canvas so much, I'm just not sure of what left and right even are anymore.
