it just disgusts me that Bronlies think they were right - that Castiel was disposable and that the only love story worth anything is Sam and Dean's any way you look at it - but why wouldn't they think that? that's the finale we got and it makes me sick to my soul i mean Wincest shippers are out celebrating tonight thinking the characters got the ending they deserved. 

and i thought 2020 couldn't get any worse.

look its not just that the ending was a trashfire for every member of Team Free Will and a hogie spat on Castiel's significance and an epic slap in the face to every bi!Dean believer and a pyre burning every Destiel shipper alive.. its that the Bronlies got the ending they always wanted ie. regression to season 1 Sam and Dean but amped up to eleven to the point where it made zero sense for character growth and the writers are out there celebrating with the Bronlies thinking it was the best ending ever??? but this ending deserves every criticism it gets and do the TPTB realise they said 'no homo' to a Destiel endgame but 'yes good' to a wincesty-vibe pile of crap???

@ bronlies still bitching about Destiel shippers apparently reducing Dean's endgame happiness to being all about a ship: 

that's not what we're doing AT ALL but hate obviously fuels you so it's no surprise you're stuck on this delusion. but while we're on the subject allow me to bitch about your hate for Castiel and refusing to admit that he's an essential part of Dean's happiness. 

Destiel shippers believe Dean deserved better in the finale for ALL of the following reasons: 

because Dean deserved to actually live his hard-won freedom

because Dean deserved to experience a free life with his Found Family

because Dean's death was fucking insulting to his hunter skills 

because Dean's complex character was reduced to a fucking footnote in his brother's own depressing endgame 

because even in heaven Dean was denied his own fucking existence and happiness independent of his brother 

because Dean is bisexual and his character was censored by a hypocritical homophobic american network 

because Dean is in love with Cas and they deserved a joint happy endgame 

because 12 seasons of a love story were swept under the fucking rug 

because 15 seasons of character development were thrown out the fucking window 

because the finale was a shitshow and Jensen deserved better for having brought Dean's character to life over the past 15 years (yes this one counts) 

Destiel is NOT the only aspect of Dean's happy ending that was disrespected and ignored, but IS a significant part of it. 

so why don't you do everyone a favour and direct your animosity for Dean's terrible fucking ending - which we're ALL in agreement of being fucking terrible - at the network that fucked him over?
