Honored to be one of the 118 women photographers featured in the iconic issue of Mfon: Women Photographers of the African Diaspora founded by award winning documentary photographer, Laylah Amatullah Barrayn and critically acclaimed, award winning visual artist, Adama Delphine Fawunda. Last evening, November 1st, the Mfon founders were the first guests of the 5th season of the Visually Speaking symposium, held in their new location with the Grand Army Plaza Brooklyn Public Library. Sharing their dream, journey and accomplishments with Grace Aneiza Ali who eloquently led the interview with great questions and insight, that drew responses from Laylah and Delphine that fed our curious souls. The book is absolutely beautiful and I am thrilled to be a part of it. Thank you, and Congratulations Laylah and Delphine for a job well done!!
