Felt that I should balance out drawing my burmecian sona as much as I do by drawing the original burmecian herself /<3<\ I've been going through a brown paper sketchbook I bought from my local art shop the past while to get a feel for using a toned surface, it's been a lot of fun to challenge myself in navigating a surface that isn't just white for a change and finding tools that complement the paper well, my favourite has been the pen I used to do this lineart /<3<\ Also wanted to give doing a full spread page a try since I usually have a hard time letting things overlap in my sketchbooks, I had fun making this /<3<\ Done with pen and colouring pencil

I've drawn so many blankets lately....living the bed life. Playing with tracing paper and thinking about everything always and being a person attempting to rest. The ones with feet double as self-portraits, and the black thing in #3 is a cold pack.

These drawings are pieces of a poetry collage comic I made for an upcoming issue of Bed Zine, along with other disabled creatives making art about about our beds! Starting off on sketchbook 31, and testing out a new picture taking program thing! I still have to finish off sketchbook 30, but I'm stuck on the final parts of inktober until I have the time to safely use my inks.

I've really been into this comic called @jumalanpelko ! (Check it out, it's very fun! Cat cult Cat clut). So I drew Suncat with a few different mediums to see how far the paper would let me push it with markers and some wet media.

It is a little hard to notice in this image, but Sketchbook 31 has brown toned paper that I've been very excited to play around with! And it has produced by-far the loveliest bind I've made so far, considering this is the thinnest paper I've used (so, ya know, it actually lays flat without a fight).

Hopefully it dosnt fall apart lol

Drew these a few months ago, I never really bothered to post them since they didn't feel "Good enough" to share with the internet.

But I've decided to share them now because there are finally other people on this platform to go insane with over these lesser-known alien guys! :D
