Yall it's OVER. this stupid file is giving me such a juicy PLOT I can't EVEN.

Me: let's do a little Clangen story. Fast, fun, real casual like. Clangen: okay so moon one's patrol (fully random btw) is going to be the outsider mate one, right. And Coral is immediately going to bring back a boyfriend--you still with me?--that has curly ears and is the same age as another cat in his former Clan, who also has curly ears. You get where this is going right? Me: nononono

I couldn't even run a single moon without gaining another cat!! And he like, perfectly matches to have been littermates with a cat from his former Clan, a cat that didn't believe Coral died and managed to find him.

Seriously??? Seriously game??? Well there goes any hope of this being a quick and casual run, because this smells like a hella spicy plot and I'm not gonna refuse a good plot dropped right into my lap.

Clangen wins.

I guess I'm learning how to make a fucking webcomic now.

If it's alright to ask here, I must know! For your cat gifting game, after Pride Month, could we request labels be added to our characters? Or will that be a Pride Month exclusive ONLY? /genq

100% you can request labels for your kitties on the ask game! I've been having a ton of fun exploring how these cats interact with their gender/orientation and am very open to continue doing it in the future!

The only reason I don't do it by default is because I want my gifted cats to feel like a springboard into making a full-fledged OC out of them. I don't want people to feel limited on what contexts they can use them in or who they can pair their cats with. It's the same reason I don't commonly offer future plots or backstories (with most asks, at least); I want people to think "oh, this cat is perfect for this role in my OC's backstory!" and not feel like the gifted cat comes with too much baggage they have to work around.

But yes!! I am 100% open to giving cats labels, or backstories, or any other details on request!

I'm also very down to take requests like "gimme a cat with [pronoun set]" or "I need a troubled son for [short character description]" or "looking for a deputy with a dark secret"

As long as the request doesn't require me to write an essay or read an essay, it's most likely doable! And if I think it's too much, I'll just be like... "hey, can't do that, but here's another cat instead" uwu

sub 20s greedier with t.lost

61 damage with 6+ tear rate, three aoe's (trisagion, godhead, skipping stone), and three damage multipliers (sacred heart, crown of light, t.lost passive). Ghost pepper and backstabber are just hanging out for funzies at that point.

I haven't stomped this hard in a long time, and glad it was during my tainted lost greedier streak!

hiii first of all love your blog(s)! did you use any mods for the accessories on this post or did you draw them? ^_^

Hello and good morning!! The accessories in question:

The cat on the right* has dried catmint and the one in the middle has desert willow, both of which are new accessories submitted to the dev branch of Clangen!

But Blanketflowersplash's herb pounces and flower bundle are all mine, drawn over his sprite specifically for this animation <3 I thought he looked lonely with only his scars and deserved something special too.

All the cat sprites are from genemod. I've been playing on the genemod unstable patch lately, which updates near daily and often pulls in features from the vanilla Clangen repository before they're even added to the dev branch. So a lot of the changes that feel old to me (like the new accessories and newborn/adolescent sprites) were only officially released a few days ago.

They should be on the development branch of vanilla Clangen after the update earlier this week, if you want to check all the new accessories out yourself! There are a ton of them =o

Turned on Blog Profiles for all my warriors-associated sideblogs, so they'll all link back to the main blog. This includes ScrubClan-daily and my tumblrized warriorcat forum games.

I already had these blogs linked both ways, now it's just easier for people to find my other games/content if they want to! And it's less confusing if I answer a comment as me instead of remembering to toggle to the appropriate side blog it was on lol

Clangen drama rambling

(For the genemod spreadsheet Clans! Where I'm keeping track of all five Clans' cats and all the wars, murders, and drama between them)

BurnClan's story is crazy. Their first deputy dies the first moon of a war to a heart attack; a senior warrior takes over as deputy for the rest of the war and retires right at the end, putting a cat named Grapefruitflip in charge. Only a few moons after Grapefruitflip gets the position, she uses her power to order a TreeClan cat (Mosquitohaven) to murder a nursing queen in TreeClan, promising him that he'd have a place of honor in BurnClan if he does. Mosquitohaven complies and flees to BurnClan, adopting three kits from a dying loner on the way.

Six moons later, Grapefruitflip is murdered by a TornClan cat. And guess who becomes the new BurnClan deputy? Mosquitohaven. idk what's going on here, but man is it DRAMA

EDIT: Mosquitostar murdered another cat (Frecklestripe of TornClan)(perhaps trying to get back at Grapefruitflip's murderer?). His healer puzzles out that he was the one to kill him within the moon, but doesn't tell anyone. Two moons later, the BurnClan leader Owletstar is mysteriously killed by a rogue, stripping all his lives at once, making Mosquitostar leader of BurnClan.

Mosquitostar is currently the only cat to have ever moved Clans on this file, and he did it by murdering a queen that just had kits. And now he's leader of another Clan. What craziness.

EDIT2: Mosquitostar lost his first life saving another Clan leader's life? BurnClan has been an utter mess btw, over half the founders were murdered or are murderers. Their current deputy convinced a MinkClan deputy to also kill a cat and defect to BurnClan. (MinkClan is also a mess; they've had... 6 deputies? In 65 moons?)
