Oprah Winfrey and Dr. Bruce Perry appeared via Video link on the Drew Barrymore Show on 30th of April to discuss their book; What Happened to You?: Conversations on Trauma, Resilience, and Healing which was released by its publisher; Flatiron Books on 24th of April.

I read Dr Perry’s book; The Boy Who Was Raised as a Dog, which illustrates the impact of various traumatic incidents on children’ development and offer much needed tools to alleviate the trauma. Please bear in mind that the book is not a fluffy written book to generate sympathy, but a well researched book, that can be a daunting read for some. Anyway, Oprah being the bigger star had more questions directed at her; I didn’t expect anything less as Oprah is bankable, but I didn’t expect Oprah to mention Harry. Yes, That Harry!

While Oprah was supposed to be promoting the book, she didn’t hesitate to share that her mental health series with Harry will be out in May on Apple TV. She mentioned that Dr Perry is involved in the mental health series as well.
