*coughs* Ok. My take on the Brujon/Azelma debacle with @lesmisshippingshowdown . Brujon's age is not specified in the books. However. I am better than this.

Brujon. He's not exactly the most niche character, as his parents are specified. He's generally placed between 20 and 50 years old, but we can do math better than that. Looking at the book we can see his father, Brujon of 1811, was in prison. He died in prison. Magnon, his mother, must have carried him in 1811 or before this. This places his age at 21 years old, or older.

Azelma. Now, the smallest amount of digging can show you that she is 14 years old. 14. Don't come at me with the "Well it was different back then" take, because this isn't back then. We're not talking about a canonical ship. We're talking about someone's fucked up pipedream with a child and man over 21 years old.

Les Mis Shipping Showdown, remove this ship. Put a different one in. There's tons. The people are not happy.

these were all the trios i could think of AND which somewhat made sense as the plastics, which were not many. i was going to put myriel, bapistine, and magloire & eponine, azelma, and gavroche as options but they didn't really make sense. also this is a fun hypothetical poll, i'm not actually making this AU (but someone else could)
