Soooo we didn't see a single forest spirit. But on the plus side there were also no other creatures trying to eat us alive! So I call that a win. Plus, I hadn't hiked around this area of Senbamachi yet and man it's stunning. Might have gotten lost on the trail once or twice but nbd. We spent the hike talking about Mt. Komorebi, since we're kindred wanderers.

I decided there was no way in hell I was gonna go hiking again today- so instead I got my woes out at Karaoke. I think I'm getting better! Kaori showed up and gave me a pep talk though- I'm gathering more and more budds here. It's a nice feeling! After I was feeling better I headed back home to knit up some more things for Plopsy. Gotta make sure my shop stays stocked. And called it a night early. I am GOING to wish on a forest spirit tomorrow. I refuse to fail!

I ended my night at the lounge as has become tradition. Grabbed something quick to eat and ahahahaha- Well let’s just say I made a new friend. Sorta. Yamato was hitting up the bar after having a tough day. Lil bit sad. Babeyyy he could use me as a- I’m getting off topic. Point is, I think a trip to the Onsen is needed tomorrow. Cheer him up. Very friendly. Imma have some sweet dreams tonight.

Upon waking up on my first Friday in Sulani I decided to take it easy. Unfortunately today seemed to be a day where things just kept breaking- and I had to do some maintenance around home base. By the time I was able to chill out- some clouds rolled in. So no napping in the sun for me today. Cash has been running a little low though, and I spent the rest of the afternoon fishing.

I had some awful sweet dreams last night, so I slept in a bit to enjoy em. I was going to just have a relaxed day bUT Makoa stopped by to ask if I wanted to go steady. Obviously I said yes. I did remind him I'm headed to my next destination soon but he said it wasn't a big deal.

I spent my last morning in Wakaba hitting up the Festival of Youth. Couldn't do much except get some grub- but when I told Sachiko I was gonna be leaving she gave me a discount! I also ran into a few friends to say goodbye to. I'm gonna miss this place. But let's not be too sad- Sulani here I come!

While I was mooching off the Onsen's heat, I met someone else who was simply visiting the moutain- Savannah! I swear she looks super familiar but I can't place it. Anyway, she told me her summer had been really hot but had fizzled out (lame). A friend of hers told her that it'd be good to "get away from it all." ANYWAY I filled her in on all the stuff I'd found that was hella fun to do around town. We're gonna go on a hike tomorrow to try to find one of them forest spirits! I believe in us.
